Bose is synonymous with unrivaled acoustic performance, and they continue their dominance with the SoundLink Flex Gen2. Right out of the box you will notice the strong craftmanship, beautiful aesthetics, and premium build. There is a solid feel in the hand and the use of premium materials is evident. I would not call the speaker beautiful or elegant, rather simplisticly pleasing. I mean that as a great compliment. This speaker is unassuming and blends well into many decors. The accompanying app provides easy setup and pairing. You can track all your Bose devices and pair compatible devices together to enrich or extend your audio experience. There are preset equalizers along with the ability to manually adjust to your unique preferences. The sound quality is flat out amazing and everything you would expect from Bose. Clear audio, deep bass, and no tin can flatness. Even at louder volumes the audio comes through nice and clean. This speaker certainly provides very high volumes and easily overcomes the ambient noise of a crowded room. Outdoors the sound extends nicely making it easy to hear across the backyard or while working in the garage. This is easily portable and provides protection from dust and water. While not the smallest speaker on the market, you can easily toss this into a backpack and take it with you. The battery life has been above average. With a couple hours of daily use I was able to go a little over 5 days before needing to charge. The Bose SoundLink Flex is all around a solid speaker. Well made, portable, and great sound with better than average battery life. I can easily recommend this to friends and family.

You have to press them more than one time to turn it on or off and the indicator lights don't seem to operate at the same time. Too bothersome to be bothered with.
