Sound quality is amazing, good design and power backup

The Bose SoundLink Flex is a respectable portable BT speaker. I like the size of this speaker. I picked it up primarily for two reasons. 1. I have an old vehicle that doesn’t have BT, and I wanted to be able to listen to my playlists on the road. 2. I do a lot of fishing in a remote area. While my boat has a radio, there are only a couple of station options, and I don’t like them. This speaker lets me listen to my lists while on the water. It serves these purposes quite well. I found the speaker very easy to connect. I already had the Bose app. This speaker uses the same app as some of the other Bose BT equipment that I already own. Even if I hadn’t had it, it’s simple enough to download. I had no trouble locating the speaker in the app and completing the pairing process. The app itself is simple. You have a little EQ that you can use to dial in a sound you like. It’s a very simplistic EQ. You essentially just have Low, Mid, and High. Three sliders. There are some presets, but they are vanilla. I’m OK with that. It’s a small, portable BT speaker. You shouldn’t expect too much in the way of high-end sound tweaking. That about all you need the app for. You can pause, skip, etc, but I’m not sure why you’d ever do that in the Bose app rather than on the device or in your media app. The sound is pretty good. I didn’t get super excited about it, but I also didn’t really have much to complain about. I knew it was small, and therefore I had reasonable expectations. I’d say it met my expectations, but it didn’t do anything to blow me away. I guess I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised by a big name like Bose. I wasn’t. That said, it has a decent sound for it’s size. Overall, I’m satisfied. It’s feels well built. It’s heavier than I expected, but nothing you can’t carry around in a backpack. I don’t know how long the battery will last, but I’ve never run it dead, so it’s fine for my purposes. It works well as an auxiliary speaker when watching movies on a laptop. It’s a pretty good portable BT speaker. Just understand what you are getting, and I think you will be satisfied.

As a SAHM, I use it to clean the house or listen to my podcast, usually I take it room to room. However I have used it for out door movie nights with a lot of people talk and the volume doesn’t disappoint! My best memory with the speaker had to been at my daughters (outdoor event) school trunk or treat party the sound didn’t travel far, but in my close proximity it was CLEAR even at its highest volume. PERFECT for small gathering with lots of screaming children. It’s powerful but not very loud or muffled.

I love this speaker! Sound quality is great and it stays connected to my phone even when I get to a distance that I would think would be out of range. Love it! May buy another one!

I have the Bose micro sound link, and it has worked well for many years, along with many of my other Bose products. I have been looking at this one for a long time, and I tried out a demo at a Best Buy store. I was blown away, and the price was good. I have had it for a few weeks, and it sounds great. It works very well with my Samsung tablet, and Chromebook when I'm listening to music or watching videos. I would absolutely recommend this wireless speaker to anyone looking for a great Bluetooth speaker, that isn't too expensive.

Excellent sound quality as it is clear and does not auto ton. Has great portability due to compact size.

I had family over for dinner last week. My speaker accidentally got left outside in the rain! I was devastated, thinking surely, despite all the claims, there was going to be major damage. Nope, none. She’s a champ…and my best friend!

great eq control on the app. super loud. perfect for the beach light weight but still has a solid bass

Great speaker with good connectivity to the iPhone app . I was told it could be woken up by the app and it can’t . It makes sense that it can’t because it shuts down completely based on settings It is an excellent choice though

The product isn't the loudest but it works for my needs but the overall trip into store customer service all that honestly was a 2-3 Star I walked in wasn't acknowledged by any rep which there were 3 speaking together laughing and joking I totally get it but not even a hello welcome nothing cool went to the shelf and my item hadn't even been picked I grab it from the shelf head up to the register for the pick up area was told I need to wait 45 mins so one of them could pick the item which I had then was told I shouldn't of ordered online so I said okay then refund me which she refused to but after about 7mins she scanned the item and I was allowed to take it

I have been a stereophile since the 70s . Bose never lets me down. This speaker is top notch. Get it. No problems just high quality sound.

Incredible sound for such a small speaker. I also paired it with another Bose speaker and the sound is even more amazing.

Purchased 3/14/25 ... This is the cutest speaker . . . I purchased the teal color. I was completely blow away by the sound in the store, amazing. Unfortunately, when I brought it home I wasn't impressed in comparison w/ my JBL $99 speaker. Also if you are a music lover you will on get 5 hours of play time if your volume is over 50%. I love to clean and listen to music and not even half way through my day battery was less than 30%. Other than that nice product. But I will be sending mine back due to the short battery life.

The buttons needs to be pushed hard that's my only concern.
