The Soundlink Flex connected seamlessly to both my phone and computer. I like that it has a mic and can be paired with another speaker for stereo sound. Unfortunately, the sound is just not good. I do own several high end speakers so maybe I was expecting too much. I thought the base and treble were decent. However, the mids were just too muffled. I have some older portable bluetooth speakers (UE boom) that sounded just as good. I then tried the Marshall. Big difference! Not quite audiophile quality, but in line with what I was hoping for out of a tiny speaker. I just wish the Marshall had a mic and could be connected with other speakers. In the end, I will keep the Marshall and return the Bose. Hope this review helps.
