Pleasantly surprised out how great this little speaker sounds. Then again.. its Bose, so I really shouldn't be surprised. I'll try to keep this brief and effective: Sound Quality: the sound quality is great. I would say that it sounds better than the Sonos Roam and I've listened to a Roam with several different genres of music for hours on end. My brother has at least two Roams, so I've had my share of listening there. Build Quality: Solid build quality and there's nothing to point that that concerns me. App use/connectivity: The Bose+ Connect app that you use to connect this speaker is easy to use and not too complex. Its clean and has a visual appeal to it, actually. Notable Features: The positionIQ is really cool. You can turn this speaker on its side (vertically), on its back or use it as its pictured and the sound will change depending on its orientation. I prefer to listen to my speaker on its back near a wall of some sort. It gives great bass and the mids/highs seem more pronounced. I can't wait to buy another Flex on sale and use them in my office via stereo mode. I've experienced sterero mode with 2 Bose Flex speakers and I loved it. Too bad I had to give one of the speakers back to my mom.. STOP RESEARCHING AND JUST BUY ONE! Find one on sale to make yourself feel better. I bought the lilac edition on sale for $100 and traded with my Mom who had a black one.

I bought this because I had a few substandard speakers. I wanted something I could really hear and feel in the room. I love the color of this. Knowing the Bose brand to be one of the best I had high expectations. This product did not disappoint. Sounds clear, easy to set up and looks great. I look forward to using this for years to come.

Big output. Easy to connect and pairs up with another Bose speaker for stereo effect. Great run time before needing charging. and, it tolerates water, sports backgrounds.

Small but mighty this speaker! Definitely gives you the classic Bose sound without being so bulky. Not the loudest but the sound quality is great. Battery life could be better

Had an original Bose Soundlink. When it came time to replace (first one lasted 10 years) I would consider nothing else. 10 years of improvement packed into this one resulting in great sound and a long battery life. There is no substitute!

My daughter was looking for a wireless speaker that contained Bluetooth and water proof! This not only had the exact capabilities but it also has a decent sound! Love it and worth the cost!

If you've owned a Bose product before, you should know what to expect: Good sound quality for a wide range of musical styles, but not a standout in any one area. Bass is solid, but you can't expect too much thump from this small size. Highs are good, but maybe not as crisp as larger speakers with more specialized drivers. Bose has a proprietary sound profile that's not the greatest, but is very good, and that's all I needed. This speaker is also very very portable, so I can bring it into the shower, pack it in my carry-on, and just lug it one-handed around the house. If quality for the size is a priority, you can't go wrong with this Bose.

I had the older Bose Soundlink that was a rectangular prism shape and I loved it. I wanted an upgrade and bought the new soundlink based on many reviews of its sound quality which I deeply desire. When I listened to it I was surprised on how clear you can hear the vocals and instruments. Also, I took it on multiple hiking trails on half battery and it lasted me the whole trail with its superior battery life, plus its fast charging. Among all its positives, it has the side tag made it useful to clip on my backpack or on my backpack strap making it very versatile. 100% recommend for a speaker of this side.

Good sound, portable, good price point. I use it mainly on the boat, I'm considering of buying a 2nd & pairing them for better stereo sound.

Bose came through again! Great sound, great size to use in numerous settings, indoor and outdoor. Charge lasts for an extended period of time.

Battery life is great. The sound is great and is easy to hook up to computer and phone without a problem. I like that its light weight and easy to carry.
