Great sound, but no equalizer

But there is no way to modify it, such as an equalizer. Specifically, its bass and treble. The bass on this can be way too much. If you take this outside or to a (loud) party, it might be okay. But using this in a small room, with non-headbanging music, the bass is overwhelming. I use this with my phone or tablet, both android. The built-in equalizer (if you can find it) is minimal, and doesn't help much. I tried third party equalizer apps, but most don't support the player apps I use, like sirius xm. This is almost a deal breaker for me, and I am still considering returning it. But I will try it a little more first. Hope this helps when considering to buy this.

great little travel speaker

By far the best in its price point. Only bummer is I can't turn it on remotely via connecting a device. I have to physically turn it on and then connect a device. This is different than the $109 smaller version which will turn on when it senses something trying to connect. Otherwise, this speaker is awesome.
