Wanted To Love It

I have owned a Soundlink Mini, Soundlink Revolve and Soundlink Revolve +. I also have a Soundboks, several JBL bluetooth speakers and a Minirig Mini. I scoured the internet for reviews of this speaker but it was too early I guess and I bought this blind. I know what to expect for a speaker this size so please believe me when I say that this speaker was a huge disappointment. There is nothing resembling the "powerful bass" that some have described. No defined midrange or highs. All I could think of is that this is a waterproof floating kitchen radio. I know Bose can make great sounding small speakers and this aint it. I didn't want to do it but I returned it and got a JBL Charge 5, sound quality blows this out of the water. I won't be buying another mid-size speaker for another couple of years so hopefully Bose can get it together and produce a real winner next time. I gave two stars because of its build quality. Soundwise, meh.
