I had picked up another brand that had very poor bass response and returned it the next day. This Bose SoundLink is much better. Obviously it is not as good at their bigger and much more expensive sound systems, but it provides a very good balance of bass, mid-range, and treble. Batter life is good enough. I lose about 10% per day for my use profile (in my car, supplementing misbehaving stereo). BlueTooth reception is excellent, and once I got it paired using the Bose App, I was able to delete the app and it continues to connect to my phone (Pixel 7 Pro) without issue. Why only four stars? I think Bose could have done a bit better with both battery life and bass response, and I hate having to use a blasted app to set up anything.

I've found orevious similar products to be heavy on the hughs and a bit tinny, but equalization on lows, mids, and highs are very well balanced with this one. The battery lasts through hours of continual use at high volume, and recharging is pretty quick. Best portable speaker I've had to date. Highly recommend.
