It's almost 2022 people, if you ever wanted a bluetooth speaker you have already bought a bluetooth speaker. So why would the Bose Soundlink Flex be any different? I can’t speak to what you may already be using but if your old one broke or you just want to upgrade your sound a bit then let me recommend the Soundlink Flex right here and now. About 7 ½ inches long by 3 ½ wide by approximately 2 inches tall and a rubberized texture on all but the front speaker grill the Bose Soundlink Flex is large enough to kick out a plenty loud sound while still being portable. In fact, it comes with a fabric loop on the right side so you can attach it to your carabiner or other attachment hardware to carry on a backpack or bag (or attach to the wall for a small child so it doesn’t get knocked off the shelf). It has some heft but isn’t quite what I would call “heavy” either, it just feels sturdy and compact like a stereo speaker smashed down into a smaller package. Setup and controls are typical for modern speakers: push the “action” button to pause, skip forward, or skip back depending on how many presses you do in sequence. The volume up makes the sound go WAY up and volume down when you realize your kid made it too loud. Power and bluetooth are also present. In the box, which is a thick cardboard fold open which I love, is a setup booklet telling you to download the app, a USB-C charging cable, and one of those multilanguage fine print papers to tell you about the laser qualifications and stuff. Barebones but you don’t really need anything else and the speaker is wrapped in plastic to keep it pristine until you’re ready to use it. Sound quality is quite good even at the highest volume (I sacrificed my eardrums to personally attest to that for you Best Buyers!) and the buttons are large enough to be found without any accidental presses. The center “action” button has raised bumps so you can always find “home” on the button bar even without looking. Its a well built and high quality speaker that will meet just about anyone’s needs, you won’t be using a stack of them at your next concert or rave but its more than loud enough for a beach trip, perfect for family audiobook nights, and an excellent choice for work around the house with tunes to motivate you. I would really recommend checking this out if you’re in the market for a new speaker.

I bought this to replace a JBL Flip5 that was replacing an old Soundlink Mini ii. The JBL sound quality never matched the Bose and I’m happy to have clear sound and full bodied bass tones.

Bose’s latest entry to the Bluetooth speaker market is a great step for people who value sound quality but are on the go as well. So far the Soundlink Flex does not miss a beat! PROS: - The Speaker itself is minimalist but really nice looking! Its sleek and smooth but you can tell there is a ruggedness to it as well. Just the overall build of this speaker feels very high end. - On that note, I really like the size of this speaker. Its big enough to produce great sound but small enough to easily hold in your hand and bring with you. - Setup for the speaker is minimal! Just download the Bose App (although not completely necessary), turn on your speaker, and hook it up via Bluetooth to your phone/tablet/computer whatever! - Right out of the box, the sound quality is really fantastic! The vocals are crisp and clear with deep lows from its dedicated subwoofer on the speaker. I was surprised that it could produce as much sound as it does given its size but it sounds terrific! - The durability is another huge pro for me! This speaker is waterproof and dust proof, meaning it can go a little over 3 feet deep in water for up to 30 minutes with no side affects. I think for a speaker like this, you want the peace of mind that it can be at the lake with you, or by the pool, or just generally outdoors with you and not worry about the speaker getting damaged. Seriously great work on the durability! - The utility loop on it is another great plus because you can hang it from whatever you need it to if you have a carabiner or something. - The buttons on it are also very simple and helpful. You can easily connect to different devices, check the power level, or change the song to forward or backwards! - The speaker also charges via USB-C and that’s great as more and more devices shift to USB-C! - Lastly, the SoundLink Flex doubles as a speaker phone since it has a microphone on it. I used it on a few calls and it sounded great and the mic worked great as well! Just nice additional functionality to have. CONS: - The buttons on it could be a little more firm so that you have a better idea on if you are clicking them right or not. - Although the utility hook is nice, I wish Bose included a carabiner to use for it. Seems like an easy thing they could have included. BOTTOM LINE: - There is a lot to love with the Bose SoundLink Flex! It is waterproof and durable, packs a lot of high quality sound, and is super portable for any adventure. Bose once again has done a great job checking all the boxes for a great Bluetooth speaker!

This is a great portable speaker. I bought a second one so I can use stereo mode (they sound great on their own but they sound significantly better as a pair) The battery life is decent but drains a lot faster when I use stereo mode. I’ve seen people complaining about the Bluetooth version being 4.2 instead of 5.0 or later. Yeah 4.2 is a little outdated, but I’ve been using this speaker daily for over a month now with barely any issues. I definitely recommend

I was very surprised by this speaker I recently purchased a 4k bluetooth TV they both work well together I am very hard of hearing I can move the speaker closer to me good bass nice sound I use it everyday battery life for me I charge every other day

I have been looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker with premium sound quality and got Bose SoundLink Flex Bluetooth speaker. In the box, it came with Bose SoundLink Flex Portable Bluetooth Speaker, USB-C to USB-A charging cable, Quick start guide, and Safety sheet. Setup is super easy and configured with my iPhone via Bluetooth using Bose Connect iOS app. This speaker has a premium and modern design made of silicone body, powder-coated steel grille with signature sound quality. I was impressed with the sound output from this speaker. The sound that came out of this speaker is crisp and clear. It is powerful enough to fill the entire room. It has a utility loop that can be used to attach the speaker to the clip. I was using this speaker during hiking and camping trips over the weekend. It is very lightweight and did not add much weight to the bag. It is IP67 rated for waterproof and dustproof. With a single charge, it offers up to 12 hours of continuous playtime in a single charge, and it will take up to 4 hours for a full charge. The battery light blinks white while charging. When the speaker is fully charged, the light stays solid white. With PositionIQ technology, it automatically detects the orientation and ensures natural, lifelike sound in any position. With a built-in microphone, I was able to receive and make phone calls through SoundLink Flex and it worked without any issues. Also, the phone’s native voice assistant like Siri or Google Assistant can be activated by holding the multifunction button on the speaker. Multiple SoundLink speakers can be connected using the party mode option from the app. Auto-off timer setting can be configured via Bose connect app. This speaker is available in Black, White Smoke, or Stone Blue color and comes with 1-year manufacturer warranty. SoundLink Flex is an excellent portable Bluetooth speaker with premium sound quality.

I bought a pair of these speakers on a different date. The first one gave me a great sound experience, the bass sounds very good, the volume level is a little higher than what I expected and to all this I add portability, which is a great factor to leave the customer satisfied. When I bought the second equal speaker, I did it because I knew that they can be paired in stereo mode through the Bosé App. Pairing them the first time is very easy, and once paired getting them to work in stereo the first time is also easy. It's a bit trickier to get them to work in stereo mode after the first time, but once you understand how to do it with the App and the use of the BlueTooth Connect button, by doing a few tests, then you can move on. You have to invest a little time to understand how to make them work in stereo mode but it is worth it because the sound quality offered by these speakers is very good. With the same App you can make your two Bose Soundlink Flex speakers sound in party mode, that is, they simply reproduce the same sound quality in two different areas where the speakers are located, either on the terrace and in the living room or kitchen or room. The party mode is like an extension of what you listen to in one part of your house and you continue listening to it in another part so you don't miss a minute of your good music. The materials used and its construction are of very good quality. This speaker is waterproof, I tested it by submerging it for an instant and in the rain, I have never left it underwater because I don't think it resists it. The speaker has also withstood some falls and blows due to my carelessness. I don't remember in the specifications how long the battery life is but I calculate that about ten hours working easily, so it is very good battery performance. In short, it is a speaker that I recommend because I have used it a lot and have put it to the test.

There is not much else I will say about this BOSE Bluetooth speaker other than it is simply amazing. I do have a few different brands of speakers, which are all good, but this Bose takes the cake and lives up to its namesake. PROS - Comes with an easy USBC port and charger - The bass is EXCEPTIONAL. It's amazing that so much bass and depth of sound comes from this small handheld speaker. - Connectivity was/is quick and easy; takes no time at all - It announces how much battery power is left when turned on - Battery life is decent, not charging too often - It's so portable and compact, it fits right into my pocketbook CONS - Zero. This is my favorite Bluetooth speaker. An obvious step above its competitors. I'm not one to write one sided reviews with no cons unless it's a rare hit out of the park. This one is just that.

The Bose SoundLink Flex BT speaker is a great addition to our home. We have an older Bose speaker that charges on a round base and this is so much easier. It is the perfect size to fit in my bag or purse to take to events. It works great at the beach, on the boat or out by the pool. It is waterproof and dustproof. I literally bring it on my raft in the pool literally it doesn't matter if it falls in! It holds a charge for up to 12 hours. We have never had it die on us when using it. The sound is awesome and we love it! I have to fight my son for it - so I might need to buy him another one for Christmas!

After using this speaker for some months now all I can say is that it is great. On the plus side, there is plenty of bass out of this speaker, the audible feedback about battery life and connection are very helpful, controls are easy to get to, it floats (but the speaker side submerges so you cannot just have it in the water sounding), it can pair with other Bose speakers, has a loop to hang it and its battery life is decent. Only down side I see is with its size/shape. It is a little oversized for hand handling. Also, when standing up it will fall on its front and back if touched too hard or it is subjected to a little wind. If it does it on its back is ok as it will still sound but if it falls on its front you'll have to pick it up. Compared to a Sonos Roam, sound wise, the Bose has a more complete sound overall (bass helps a lot here). Now, the size and the way the Roam sits around standing or on its side is way much better. Still, I think the Bose is an overall hit specially if you don't mins its size/shape.

It FLOATS! IT seriously literally floats. I dropped it in the pool and it started to float away. I paniced, got to it, and it just kept playing. :0 I am still using it months later with 0 issues. It is clear precise sound you expect from Bose. It syncs very easily. I had a poolside Witcher 3 watch party on a projector and I just synced this with it. It was punchy enough to handle the sound perfectly. Rich bass, clear voices, volume was equalized nicely across the board. Sound was sufficient to entertain everyone in a broad 40 to 50 ft length cone while keeping reasonably quiet behind it where my kids were inside sleeping. Great device. Everything you would expect from Bose at a pretty excellent price point.

I've owned 6 or 7 different bluetooth speakers and this is far and away the best! Sound quality is amazing with its small size. Bass is clear and can thump to a certain extent. Mids and highs are not muddled, even at high volume. The exterior is extremely impressive with its IP rating and the buttons are intuitive and work really well. Puts out clear, loud sound on the beach! Almost as loud as my 10 y/o Milwaukee boombox for outside, except this is 1/10 the size. While battery life isn't amazing, but very good at about 8-10 hrs of med/high volume, the fact that it announces the battery life remaining every time you turn it on is awesome! The main negative is the app, it asks for way too many permissions and notifications. I just deleted it, works great without it!
