1 speaker is 'good', 2 speakers are 'really good' for outdoor use. If you need something louder(and these get pretty loud)... buy something bigger. Indoors, the speakers take advantage of walls for additional bass response and are generally what you'd expect from bose; crisp, clear and well defined sound. Indoors they sound nearly identical to my larger Google Max pair of speakers. But I bought these for exclusive outdoor use. They do lack the lowest end extension if thats your bag, but, sound great. Its hard to imagine a better speaker at this size and price point. Buy with confidence says I.

Great speaker!!! The sound is amazing. It’s loud enough to fill a large room. It has plenty of bass for any genre of music. Also pretty good battery life. Highly recommend

The Bose sound like is awesome. We use it to supplement the built in speakers in our LG TV . We leave both the Bose and the TV speakers in at the same time. It sounds better than a sound bar we used to use. And it's so easy to haul around we use it in the backyard, shower whatever. Great sound good bass and she that.

So far, love this speaker. Bought it for golf, but recently took it on a weeklong vacation and it worked great. Battery lasts long and plenty loud. It is a bit heavy, but personally I like that as it doesn’t bounce around the golf cart and you can feel it in your carry-on luggage when doing the “oh crap did I forget something” anxiety check.

Great sound, good value, battery life is good, portable, and waterproof, you can't go wrong.

I was looking at several different small wireless speakers to use in my garage for working out. Decided to go with this one based on Bose reputation for having great sound, this little speaker didn’t disappoint, it’s perfect for what I needed it for. The sound is great, has really good bass for its size, the sound pretty well fills the garage (3 car garage for reference) and the battery life is great as well. I’m really happy I deceived to purchase this speaker.

This blue tooth speaker has great sound. It is made of durable material in addition to being waterproof. The battery life is awesome. Need i say more...

This speaker is amazing and very lightweight. I am going to buy one for myself. It has great sound and super portable. It will even fit because size and shape in the water bottle sides of a backpack. Bluetooth your music anywhere. We had bought my son a JBL first and then saw this and bought him this one as well. 10 out of 10 on this speaker. He LOVES it! Comes in many colors as well. Very affordable for such good sound. It was on sale somewhere else but only boring. Okors and Best Buy matched the price.

Portable speakers have been something I have been buying for YEARS. This has got to be one of my favorites. The battery life is incredible, the sound is clear and I love that it can connect to multiple devices. If you're on your phone and you hit pause on something, you can just starting playing something else from your computer and it will automatically switch over.

Very well made speaker and it sounds great! I downloaded the Bose Connect application for my iPhone and was able to easily connect to the speaker. The speaker is about the size of a full-sized stapler. I considered purchasing a larger speaker, but plan to take this one camping & hiking so wanted something smaller. The loop is ideal, can use a carabiner (not supplied) to mount it on our tent or backpack.

Crisp sound with good bass and very portable. Love that it's waterproof, but wish that it had a plug for an audio cable. Very easy to connect Bluetooth.

Build quality: It is a metal frame covered with a silicone back. The little strap is a nice touch and can accommodate a caribeaner or other type of hook to hang it off a bag or whatever you want to fasten it to. It will float but only the end where the charge port is. Other than that it is pretty sturdy and will take a few drops and bumps here and there. The sound quality on this speaker is great. It definitely sounds like a bigger speaker than it is. The mids and highs are clear, and the bass response is decent for its size. You will need two of these for a true stereo experience though. It will do the trick for casual listeners or small gatherings. It will fill a small room just fine but if it's a bigger room, (20x20), it may be a stretch. Pairing it using Party Mode is simple using the Bose Connect App and it works well. Overall the Bose Flex is priced right of how well it performs.

Bought this for my college-aged son after his other one (different brand). He listens to music frequently. He says this new speaker is a huge improvement over the old one. He stated that it is much louder, clearer, and has a much better sound. He takes it everywhere—outside, bathroom, beach, dorm room, etc. and loves that it is waterproof, dustproof, and easy to transport.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. He absolutely loves it. It is compact in size but gies really loud, the base is awesome. The clarity of sound is amazing.

i was confused with other options like JBL, Sony and Marshall but this speaker from Bose is the best for the buck, great bass in such a small package and everything is so balanced, jbl flip 6 sounds more towards highs, and marshals are too expensive , Sony is just crap, dont ever go for sony speakers are very bad, horrible in sound and their size is huge for such horrible sound. Bose this speaker is really good.

Great sound as expected from Bose. The waterproof characteristic is very convenient. The size is good too. Battery lasts about 12 hours.

Everything you’d expect from Bose: superb sound quality! Rich low end, and bright high end ranges. Pleasantly unexpected output. I bought two speakers. Together, they pack a punch. Great for outdoor because they’re waterproof. Bluetooth syncs with all my electronic devices, even my MacBook. Speakers are sturdy with good weight and quality build. They’re not snazzy looking, but who cares! It’s the sound that count. I’ve never been disappointed by a Bose product.

I have never been happier with any other sound product as I am with this speaker. Compact, and powerful, it really puts out the bass. I set mine on the floor against the wall for the best sound and it turns my house into one giant sound source! Highs, Mid-tones, and Bass all sound great, at such an affordable price. Thanks, Bose!

Battery life is great, sound quality is even better! I’ve had it for almost a year now and it’s withstood a lot, I’ve even dropped it and no issues the thing is like a brick!

If you lay this thing down or sided against the wall, you can hear extra base compared to standing it up in the middle of a table or something. It has a speaker on the back and I think that’s how you get the extra bassy sound. Granted, the base is not super powerful considering the size of the speaker but for its size it sounds pretty good. It also fits well in my messenger bag so I can take it with me everywhere. And the battery lasts a long time even on standby.
