Sounds amazing but stopped working

Well balanced but not the loudest. The only issue i had was it just randomly stopped working. Power would cut out unless plugged in and audio cut in and out while plugged in.

No More Bose

Returned first one as I thought it must be defective. Second one is as bad or worse so it's going back too. Expected more from the Bose name. Will try a different brand.

Posted .Thanks for your review! I'm glad you like the sound of the SoundLink Flex. It's true that EQ must be controlled from the connected device, or e.g. by bringing the speaker closer to a wall to increase bass. When setting up Party mode, make sure only 1 speaker is connected, otherwise setup won't work. Lastly, the Flex can indeed be used outdoors, but the sound won't reflect off walls like it will indoors. Warm regards, Fiona M. - Bose Customer Support

This issue is when you have songs with more bass, when it’s turned up it gets softer when the “bass drops” it is like there is not enough power to make the woofers work. The highs and mids sound amazing and can go pretty loud for such a small speaker. Now maybe I just have a bad unit and that’s why I am having issues.
