Great sounds can't go wrong with anything Bose I am speaking from experience.

I'm not an audiophile but I know what sounds good to me so I tend to be picky about my bluetooth speaker options. I always expect good things from Bose and it usually ends up fitting my expectations. This speaker fit the bill. It's relatively small so it's easy to take anywhere on-the-go. Sound wise, it has very good sound (just the right amount of bass without sounding distorted when the music is turned up loud). This is always a good thing since sometimes smaller bluetooth speakers sacrifice some of the sound aspects to fit into a compact space. The PositionIQ does a great job at optimizing the sound based on how you have it positioned so it sounds great when sitting up so the smaller speaker grate in the back isn't blocked as well as if you have it laying down so the main grate is facing up. I also love that this speaker can be chain connected to other Bose speakers (worked seamlessly with the Bose Home 300 and Bose Portable Smart Speaker that I have). Battery life is listed as up to 12 hours. Over the past few days I tested it for no less than 3 hours at a time and did not have to put it back on the charger until today (day 4) so the 12 hour claim seems to be accurate. It charges via USB-C so you are able to use the included cable or any other qualified USB-C cable to charge it. Charging completely from close to zero charge took a few hours but nothing unexpected. The speaker has a silicone-like material around it (excluding the front speaker grill of course and the smaller grill on the back) which is extremely and soft to the touch but definitely picks up dust easily. It's easy to wipe off though so it's no big deal. This would also help with absorbing some of the shock if you accidentally drop it. While Bose claims it is dustproof and waterproof (IP67) I do wish the charging port had a cover for it. I wasn't concerned about the brief exposure to rain on Saturday but I would absolutely avoid anything more like using too close to a pool or other water source just to be safe. I do notice a slight gap where the silicone-like cover and the hard surface on the front meets. It's not ill fitting or anything but it's just small enough that I noticed dust getting into the area. I don't think it gets inside but I did find myself needing to take my fingernail to get the little dust particles in the area. Overall I am impressed with this speaker. It's definitely a great addition to the Bose products I already have and one I would take with me on the go as well as use at home.

Excellent base and volume for how small it is. I bought it so I could travel with it, and I have high hopes
