    My speaker, after a year of ownership, has begun randomly turning off. Sometimes I have to turn it on 3 times in a row before it actually stays on and lets me use it. I use it for conference calls at work , so I turn it on and off a lot and it's clearly not built for that. I honestly expect higher quality from Bose. The sound quality is really good but it's a bit annoying to use if it just randomly shuts off on you.

      Hello,

      Your SoundLink Flex speaker will power off after 20 minutes of inactivity. You can adjust this setting in the Bose Connect app, however, if it keep turning itself off, please try to reset it, following these steps: https://bose.life/4ew58pl

    Great sound but they got rid of the auxiliary input (despite the salesperson telling me it was there... you can't see if it's available the way it's displayed with the security attachments. I returned it, very easy to do. The versatility really drops without any auxiliary inputs.

    Excellent sound , terrific performance when you pair two of them in stereo mode it will blow you away, I no longer use my stereo system, now it's all Bose a pair of Soundlinks!!

    Sounds great when it's fully charge. But that's where the 3 stars comes in. The battery does not stay charged for more than 30 minutes. Would have returned it; however, my daughter did not tell me about this problem until the after the 30 days were up.

      I'm happy to hear you like the sound of your SoundLink Flex speaker, Cynthia, but sorry to hear of the battery issue! The speaker should remain charged for 12 hours at typical listening volume; since you're not getting this, make sure the battery has been fully charged and the unit is off when not in use.     Has a nice look to it but when it’s hooked to your phone calls can still come Thur which interprets the music.

    I played the speaker out of the box for about 20 minutes. Then put it on charge for 2 hours. One minute of play time and it said that I needed to charge again. I charged it for 3 more hours and it would not turn back on. I’ve had Bose speakers before and this is the first time a speaker would not charge and hold it for only 20 minutes. It’s going back!
