We're glad you and your husband are enjoying the audio of your speaker. In a typical usage, the SoundLink Flex battery lasts up to 12 hours. As with any battery-operated device, battery performance can vary based on a number of different factors. These include the type of content being played, the volume, and the surrounding temperature. Listening to music at less than 50% volume ensures a longer battery life, whereas increasing the volume past 65% of max decreases the life of the battery at a faster rate. The speakers sounded fine, but I had problems setting up a pair. I returned them and I think I may give the JBL flip 6 a try. Good luck.

Retuned to Best Buy 20 days after purchase, but could only return after 14 if not a “member”, cashier wanted to sell “member” @ $50 that way Best Buy could return - major money grab. Opened warranty request directly with Bose - 2 minute process, returned the one from Best Buy and received a new one directly from Bose. Will test again, if battery life is subpar on new speaker will return for $$$.

It paired with my Bluetooth and then it didn’t. Sometimes a song would just stop. Sometimes I’d get nothing but static. I’d troubleshoot with BOSE and then I’d get a replacement. Tired of going to UPS. Will never buy another BOSE product.
