I am sorry to hear your Soundlink Flex's battery capacity hasn't quite met your expectations.
Battery run-time depends on what type of audio being played and the volume at which it is being played. Playback time may be reduced by several hours when the product is used continuously at a high volume level while streaming audio over Bluetooth. High-intensity, heavy rock music, or music with a lot of bass will consume more power at a high volume level.
To increase the playback time, reduce the volume level.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been really liking this Bose Soundlink speaker. It is very easy to connect with my phone. This speaker, matched with the Bose Connect app, helps link other Bose Soundlink speakers. I have yet to experience that as a feature, however, just ONE speaker in itself is ample to fill a medium sized room. 1) The build is very durable. The materials are high quality and well-put together. There are no flimsy parts and the texture feels nice to touch. 2) The volume is exceptional. For something this small, it pretty much fills up a room. Now on the louder end, the different sounds (low, mid and high) tend to fall in one plane. They do sound crowded in one space—of course, to be expected with one speaker, versus separates. But the speaker projects the sound well enough to have the different levels still sound crisp no matter the volume. 3) It is compact. I just put it in my gym bag and it is ready to go with me where I go. It is not heavy—at least the weight is just right for it to deliver quality sound. I am sure this sounds much better synced with a couple of these. But again, just by itself, this is a winner!

Posted .Hi, it's strange your speaker isn't charging while in use. Make sure your power supply is rated for 5 vDC, 0.5 A. If not, it may not be receiving enough power.

I usually have all my audio needs catered by bose. But this speaker under performed extremely and is going to be retuned. I only put a good value because had it perform like bose products normally do it would of been worth every penny. The set up and use of it is very simple but still overall a let down.

As long as you have the speaker pointed DIRECTLY at you not up or down slightly then you lose a decent amount of sound. I wish it was round with speakers for a full 360 like the Ultimate Ears Boom and Hyper Boom but its not. Also the app doesn't work just skip that part if you can Bose is a hardware company not a software company.

Did you know that you can add a second speaker to play in Stereo or Party Mode to enhance the sound? Also, thanks to the PositionIQ technology, the speaker will sound differently depending on how you position the speaker.

Charging port is not engineered to BOSE quality. Been using BOSE for forty years. This sounds fine for the price point, but it is nonetheless JUNK. Vert dissatisfied.
