    Over the past few days I've been sing this around my house and the battery is still over 50%. It's tiny, but puts out big sound for such a tiny speaker. It has a lot of bass, and I'm definitely a fan of that. It gets loud, but does get distorted after about 2/3rd's volume. It was easy to setup via the Bose Connect app. Just to test the IP67 rating, I decided to place it under my kitchen faucet for minute. I completely soaked the speaker and it was still working, granted it didn't sound good with all the water on it. After a couple pats to get the excess water off the grille it was back to playing like normal again. This would be perfect for camping or having it around a pool or hot tub. It would also make a great office speaker. You wouldn't have to worry about spilling coffee on it, lol.

    Pretty disappointed with this speaker. I expected better from a brand like Bose. The connection to devices was nothing short of a pain. The sound is ok but not great. Other users said that the bass was good. No. My super old sonos speaker is way better than this. I might never buy this brand again.

      Hello, if you are experiencing issues with connecting your speaker to a device. I recommend that you check out some of our recommended troubleshooting steps for Bluetooth connections here: https://bose.life/3T6KWQO.

      In regard to sound quality, you can adjust bass or treble settings from your phone, tablet or other connected device.
      The SoundLink Flex also uses PositionIQ. This adjusts EQ based on product orientation (these are pre- programmed EQs for each orientation – horizontal, vertical or on its back). There is nothing you need to do to make these audio adjustments. Depending how you place your speaker in the room, the PositionIQ will provide the best audio performance in the current speaker orientation.

    This was my first time buying a Bose speaker, and I was so excited to have it. I grew up with Bose being the best. I gave the item the stars I did because, when it is working properly, it sounds amazing. However, while using it, my music begins to skip intermittently for no apartment reason. I thought maybe it was a fluke and one faulty unit, so I exchanged it for another one. I get home with my new speaker, and it does the same thing. I did everything I could to find a fix for this, and followed every troubleshooting tip from the Bose website. Nothing has worked. I will be returning this item. Very disappointed.

    Daughters first wireless speaker and it’s been a hit! She loves dancing and singing this was perfect. We’ve always loved Bose and will still support their products.

    Bose SoundLink Flex is a good speaker. It doesn't have a good bass that I expected from Bose.

    I like the speaker & handle but the battery only lasts 4.5 hours. Will be returning for a JBL Charge 5.

      Hi Gary,

      With the SoundLink Flex you should achieve roughly 12 hours at an average listening volume. This may be reduced if you listen at excessive volumes, however. The speaker can be re-charged in around 4 hours and can also be used while charging.

    This speaker sounds great! I’m very impressed with it except for the battery. It is supposed to have a 12 hour battery, but while at the beach it only lasted a little less than 3 hours. I assume this is because it was at max volume. The 12 hour battery is likely when it is at a lower volume for a sustained period of time.

    Great speaker but we couldn’t get it to link with Alexa. So, we returned it.
