Not much volume I was disappointed with the Bose quality of loudest setting.

The speaker was easy to use and worked well for the first 16 months after I purchased it. Then, it stopped being able to connect to my devices. After repeated attempts to connect it to my devices, I've given up on it.

Love Bose . Had a previous model, gave it to my niece. Now i wanted one for work ( xmas time).

it ok not as good as i thought it would be. it could be better

the sound is so low even in my tiny studio apartment I can't hear it from room to room. you have to put this thing right up to your ear or stand a few feet away. I liked my JBL flip better.

Works and sounds fine as a stand alone l but connecting 2 of these speakers via the Bose Connect app is horrible and doesn’t work! Returned the 2 Bose speakers I bought two demo Besr Buys. Not a happy Bose costumer

As a brand, Bose needs no introduction, the whole world knows they make good quality audio products. whether it’s sound bars, car speakers, headphones, or in this case, their newest product, the SOUNDLINK FLEX Bluetooth Speaker. Though not perfect here is my review. First the Cons: I’m not too crazy about the overall shape and design. It just looks like another Bluetooth speaker, nothing about it stands out. If it wasn’t for the the fact that it says “BOSE” in the front of the speaker, most people wouldn’t really know its a Bose. You have to download the Bose Connect App in order to sync the speaker to your smart phone. You cannot sync it to your phone otherwise like any other normal Bluetooth speaker. The app itself really doesn’t do much, it tells you how much charge the speaker has remaining, it gives you the ability to connect other Bose speakers so that you can listen to multiple speakers at the same time (they don’t all have to be this particular speaker to be able to all sync together, but it does have to be compatible). you can also do a few other minor things in the App, but nothing noteworthy. The good: Bose makes great sounding Speakers, and this device is no exception, it sounds surprisingly loud and clear for its size, and even though it lacks bass for heavy bass music like rap, it produces just enough for every other genre of music to sound good. Once you sync the Bluetooth speaker to your smart phone through the app, you can delete the app if you want and it will still connect to your phone after that. Battery lasts up to 12 hours per charge, it’s dust and waterproof, comes with a charging cable (but no wall-charger) And the best part is that at its price point, it’s priced just right! So between the price and the quality of the sound, I’m giving it five stars despite its few shortcomings that are my opinion anyways, other people might not see them as a problem.

The speaker sounds good. Mostly for my bathroom. However you can't advance the music on the speaker to need your phone. Battery life is not impressive but since it is in the bathroom mostly during my travels it is OK.

The Bose SoundLink Flex Bluetooth Speaker is the latest portable/wireless offering from Bose. It is small, yet powerful. Slightly larger than 8 x 3.6 x 2 inches it fits comfortably in your hand. It has a sturdy build with a bit of heft. Its portable size and stadium shape (rectangular with rounded corners) makes it easy to grab. Small rubber “feet” on the backside prevent the rear speaker from being completely obstructed when it is lying flat or pressed against a surface. There is a carrying loop (made of a thick seatbelt-like material) on one the end of the speaker. The USB-C charging port is located on the other end. There is no auxiliary input on this speaker. A USB-C charging cable is included but not a wall charger. The charging cord is just less than 20 inches long, which will require charging to occur very closely to an outlet. Visually this speaker is very plain-all black except for the white Bose emblem on the front of the metallic screen that covers both the front and rear speakers. A silicone material covers the remainder of the speaker, including the 5 control buttons located on the top-power, volume up and down, Bluetooth, and a multi-function button that can be used to pause music and answer and disconnect calls. Use of the Bose Connect app is required and Bluetooth pairing occurs very easily with the directions being voice prompted. It arrived uncharged and the initial charge took about 90 minutes. The battery life is advertised as 12 hours. In total I have probably used it for 5-6 hours. While there is no visible measure of the battery’s charge, when you turn the speaker on, it announces the level of charge the battery has. PositionIQ detects the orientation of the speaker and optimizes its sound automatically. There is a built-in microphone that allows you to take calls and the speakerphone is very clear. I am also able to access Google Assistant over the speakerphone. Music sounds great when transmitted from my phone but as the volume increases you start to hear distortion if you are very close to the speaker. This dissipates noticeably as you move away. This speaker is advertised as being IP67 rated, which means the unit can be dropped into a body of water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes and is 100% protected against dust and sand. While I did not submerge the speaker in water, I have used it in the shower and since have not noticed any change in its sound or functioning. The SoundLink Flex offers great portability, clear and loud sound, a durable build, and some upgraded options for your dollar. This would make a great gift for everyday use in the office or dorm room, for use in an RV, or for throwing in your bag to take on an adventure.

This was a desperate purchase because I could not find my other soundlink. Not disappointed in the purchase, but not the best.

this is bizarre. I bought two of these and this one doesn't sound as good as the other. Buzzing, "tin" sounds very odd. Bringing it back to trade for a different one. Love Bose.

The sound not bad,just wish it was louder but overtim happy with my purchase. Love the color n highly recommended.

Get another speaker. The pairing function with iPhone is HORRIBLE, and causes many headaches when it decides not to be connected anymore.

It will not hold a charge. Had good sound quality but won’t charge. Very disappointed

This speaker can project over a group of chattering partygoers, or can play relaxing music at very low volume while you're sitting at your desk, both equally with great sound quality. I'm not a sound expert at all, I just like that it's a great size, it sounds good to me, it's easy to use, recharges fast, and last a good long time.

Bose,the name speaks for itself,and of course,the Bose sound. Amazing! For it's size,this speaker does not disappoint. It's easy to use,you can hold it in one hand and easily control all the functions. Bluetooth connects fast and flawlessly. And the overall durability of this speaker, unbelievable. I dropped this speaker down a flight of stairs,about 9 steps in total,and it never missed a beat,I picked it up,wiped off the scuff marks and kept on jamming. Durable,waterproof,amazing sound, affordable. Nice work Bose!

I love this limited color! I had a Bose speaker before this one and this one is much more powerful! Love!
