    I got 5 hours from it at the most. I would have kept it if I had got 8 hrs of the 12 it said. I realize volume and all that but from Bose not getting no more play time than that I was very disappointed. I took it back and got a JBL which I’m very pleased with. I got the smaller Bose and it plays 5 hrs for me. I was looking for one that would play longer and this Bose didn’t do it. I still may buy another Bose someday but it better come closer to what’s advertised or it will go back too. ✌️

      Hello, the Soundlink Flex uses Bluetooth 4.2 and has a battery life of 12 hours, when used at extreme volumes however, this will reduce the playtime to as little as a few hours.

    I like the speaker but after using it for a year, now it says I have to download the app.

      Hello,

      The app is not compulsory for use. You can simply pair via the Bluetooth settings page on your music device. The app can be used to manage Bluetooth connections, pairings, updates and grouping the speaker, but it's not needed for use if you do not wish to use any of those features.

    Worked great for almost exactly 1 year. Then it stopped connecting. It is now in a box waiting for trash day.

    Major crap. Don’t waste your money. This is the second Bose that I have owned and the first one was garbage. Also, I should’ve learned my lesson.

    BOSE is hands down my preferred speaker brand. Any product I've owned from them far surpasses my expectations. This speaker is no exemption to that statement. Bose packaging is sleek and simple. When you open the box, there's your speaker with it's directions and charging cable! No fishing around in tons of plastic for the item. The speaker itself is larger than I had anticipated but I am not disappointed in that at all! It's simple to turn on, set up and charge. And boy does this thing pack a sound punch! It's small but mighty. As soon as it's charged up, it fills the room with beautifully tuned music. Very light weight and portable. I love the satin-esque textured finish. The small cloth tab is a nice added feature if you want to hang it somewhere. It's bluetooth so you obviously need a phone or laptop to connect. I take this speaker everywhere with me! Bose puts out awesome, high quality products with the best sound quality on the market in my opinion. No other brand stands up!

    Big fan of Bose, but these sounds like a pair of generic brand speakers. Absolutely no bass or loudness. Can’t believe these are priced at $120+ Then the design is flawed, the speaker tips over very easy

    This is a decent speaker but I was expecting it to be much louder than it is. The battery life is eh.

    One by itself sounds fine but I bought these for the smart link capabilities because I need two for an upcoming outdoor party. Sad to report that this feature is useless. Takes a while to set up and when you finally do the results are awful. Sound frequently cuts out from one to the other. Taking this straight back tomorrow.

    Worst speaker ever. Do not wast your time or money. Bluetooth is super out dated and always disconnects when u get an incoming call or step more than 20 feet. Bose did a terrible job with this speaker. Bose used to be my go to but this one was a huge miss. I have the jbl flip and it’s better and cheaper with better Bluetooth function. Save yourself the headaches and avoid this trash speaker.

The range of the speaker is expected to be 33 ft, getting roughly 20 ft of range could be down to environmental factors causing interference. Moving closer to the speaker, or checking for other wirelessly connecting devices that may be interfering with the signal.

    If you’re buying a Bose product, you can pretty much count on it having excellent sound quality. That’s what they’re known for, and there’s a reason they’re known for it. That’s no less true of this Bluetooth speaker; it’s small but it packs a punch with rich, deep notes that most other companies can’t compete with. The speaker itself is super durable, much more so than many out on the market now. I love the silicone body, because it holds up well even if you manage to drop it on the floor, something I have definitely been known to do with my Bluetooth speakers. I don’t feel like there’s a whole lot more to say about this. It gives the sound you expect from Bose, it’s durable, battery life is good, and I highly recommend it.

    I purchased this speaker about a year and a half ago and it already stoped working and now im being told that I would have to purchase a new one !!

    Purchased 2 of these as gifts and this one came with bad battery. Charge it to 100% and barely lasts 2 hrs while the other lasts well over 10 hrs. Also battery goes down over 10% - 20% a day while turned off sitting on the shelf. Now I’m unable to return it.

    my wife's beats pill had lost its luster and she wanted a "Bose" expecting these to live up to their reputation we purchased these in a pair , we got them home and they were way more complicated than expected to pair to the iPhone and then again to themselves in party mode or what ever they called it once working they dropped the Bluetooth connection 3 times trying to play just one song having to then re- pair them to the phone and to each other again thank god we tried them before putting them under the tree for xmas these were returned the next day
