Too much Bass and no equalizer to control it. Design makes it fall over easy.

Battery life is no good we can get one with a shipper price with a better battery life I really disappointed

Sound was not to loud as I was expecting. Other Bose (smaller) devices has very good “loud” sound

Failed to charge after 2 weeks. Don’t recommend. Best Buy won’t accept the faulty product back. Super disappointed.

This is my first speaker in this price range and I cannot be happier. The bass and treble mixes perfectly and does not wash one sound of the spectrum out. It can play quiet, and also very loud. The ease of connection a device is very quick, and all the buttons are very easy to use press. I use this in the shower and it has seen its fair share of water and it has no problems with water. It comes with a nice carrying case that stores the speaker safely with its cables. And lastly, the USB-C is great because it charges this speaker in just an hour or so and the battery lasts a very long time. If you are looking for a speaker that's not break the bank, get this one. And if you were looking for a cheap speaker, this one is very worth the extra money.

I love it do much i bought 2 but…. They have issues connecting with eachother and wont with speakers of another brand

The blutooth always disconnect with no reason but overall is good

LOVE this small, portable BOSE! The sound is amazing, it was a breeze to pair with my phone and the price was just right. I purchased this as a pick-up at Best Buy and, as always for me, it was seamless! I was in and out of the store in five minutes. Great customer service!

Disconnect can’t even return music keeps on getting distorted

I have bought many small bluetooth speakers and this one sounds the best by far. It also looks good, I have them in 3 colors. Light blue, red and black. They make great gifts! I have accessorized them with carabiner clips and silicone covers with crossbody carrying shoulder straps so I can comfortably wear and listen at the same time. I use it to watch my shows and stream my music on my tablet or phone while getting ready to go out, while walking and gardening. It keeps my energy bill down without the tv on alot. I use them with the Bose App which helps control the devices and keeps them organized while in use. To boost another Bose product I use their app for my Bose sunglasses also which have great sound.

Has connection issues trouble with the Bluetooth even through Bose connect app

I am proud cheap, budget conscious, pragmatic shopper. I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker despite owning a JBL clip for my bike, JBL Vibe Beam, ear buds, 2 Pathfinder Charger speakers for large parties, Notabrick Kibe, and Jam Classic 2.0. (grandson's speaker). Bottom line: I didn’t NEED an other speaker, yet there I was cruising the bluetooth speakers at the electronics store “killing time”. I had heard the Bose Flex Soundlink in the gym and was really impressed with the sound, but not the price. So I started to compare the speakers and gave the sound edge to the Bose, but the comparable speakers were less expensive, if bulkier. Then a mid-Summer sale had them at $50 off and I pulled the trigger. I was so financially disappointed when a big box store had it $70 off a few weeks later. After hearing the first one I couldn’t resist. I bit. This speaker is exceptionally good - I had to have it. I had to hear them in party mode. While it won’t replace the Pathfinders for the big parties, In party mode, they could serve as the stereo speakers for the man cave or home office with room to spare. The sound these speakers generate is powerful, clear, heavy and light. The sound profile changes when the speaker is put in different positions. To my ear, they sound best sitting flat. Yeah there’s no tweaking the sound through equalizer (Hey Bose stop farting around and add an EQ function on the app), but it really isn’t an issue. They are easily the best sounding set of speakers to this frugal ear, with $120 in my pocket! PLEASE NOTE: To pair 2 speakers to each other: Connect one speaker to a source, then On the speaker connected to a source, press the bluetooth and volume up button simultaneously. The speaker will signal it is connecting mode and instruct you how to complete the connection with the other speaker. To complete the connection with the other speaker, on the second speaker, press the volume down and the bluetooth simultaneously until the speaker indicates they are in party mode. To put them in stereo mode, you will need to use the App.

This thing is a battery hog. I am getting about 2 to 3 hours max battery life even at moderate volume. The sound is very bass heavy and muddled mid range. Overall given the sound, battery performance, and brand name i am highly disappointed in the quality of the product.

I expected a better sound quality. It’s ok, but not amazing like I thought for the brand name.

I did a fair amount of homework before deciding to get this. That was a year and a half ago. I love the sound, the portability, connectivity with my iPhone 13 using the new Bose app, and the battery life, while not as good as others, is still okay with me. My girlfriend heard mine, and now she has one, my adult son heard mine and now he has one. All happy campers, highly recommend this especially when these are on sale for just over $100 USD.

The form factor of the Bose Flex is unique. I have to believe the flatter, wider speaker allows better sound development than the tried and true cylinder of most portable Bluetooth speakers. When laid flat on a surface, the sound coming from the bottom side is amplified by the surface, has a great bass sub woofer effect, and of course the top side emits deep rich Bose sound. We have several other brands of Bluetooth portables, and the Flex shames them for clarity and pure sound. The Bose app focuses on connectivity instead of gimmicky sound effects and enhancements. No bass boost or house lights are needed here. The speaker just sounds good and clear. I played with some of the EQ settings on my phone too, and none made a good difference. The native sound from the speaker is room-filling and not distorted by increased volume. One thing of note—I do not find this to be a speaker I’d carry on a hike or stroll, despite the “carry strap”. Carrying it room to room, poolside, or on a trip makes sense, but it’s a bit heavy for grabbing and going.

Wouldn't connect to my laptop so I returned it the same day & traded for aJBL Charge 5.

Very weak base. Would’ve returned if Best Buy’s policy was better.
