No one needs additional apps on their devices. It is nice that you can play what ever you want from your phone. Oddly it smelled really chemically coming out of the box.

Love Love Love it's so much louder than most Bluetooth speakers at least all the ones I have purchased before. And let's face it You can't compare sound like the one Bose delivers!

The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I did struggle to get it to pair with my phone and my tablet. However, once paired, I havent had conductivity issues.
