The only knock is the battery life, I've had better but it did sacrifice quality. You can get more play time at lower volume but that's not always possible in the outdoors

Replaced under warranty

So far I had one one big issue which made me send it back for repair while still under warranty. It seemed like an inside screw got loose and it was making a noise when shaking the speaker. Bose sent me a new one. Since then no issue other than the battery does not last what is says it does.

Uses usb c which is great. Connects with my pixel no problem but initially took me awhile to connect.

It charges quickly and the charge lasts for a long time. We never run out of charge when we take it for a day at the beach. The reason I took off a star is because we cannot get it to link to our main Bose sound bar in our house. We originally bought it so that the music could be on in the house through the sound bar and also on this speaker on a patio table outside. Maybe it is user error or maybe I misunderstood when I purchased it and it is not capable syncing with a Bose soundbar.
