    Major crap. Don’t waste your money. This is the second Bose that I have owned and the first one was garbage. Also, I should’ve learned my lesson.

    I purchased this speaker about a year and a half ago and it already stoped working and now im being told that I would have to purchase a new one !!

    Purchased 2 of these as gifts and this one came with bad battery. Charge it to 100% and barely lasts 2 hrs while the other lasts well over 10 hrs. Also battery goes down over 10% - 20% a day while turned off sitting on the shelf. Now I’m unable to return it.

    my wife's beats pill had lost its luster and she wanted a "Bose" expecting these to live up to their reputation we purchased these in a pair , we got them home and they were way more complicated than expected to pair to the iPhone and then again to themselves in party mode or what ever they called it once working they dropped the Bluetooth connection 3 times trying to play just one song having to then re- pair them to the phone and to each other again thank god we tried them before putting them under the tree for xmas these were returned the next day

    Can't adjust bass. No equalizer.

    This would be great if you could adjust the bass, treble, mid-tones to how you like it--but you can't. Just the one pre-set as it comes out of the box. Bose just doesn't have good (or even average) tech features when it comes to their products. Will buy a different brand from now on.

    Loses connection with iphone every few days and will not regain connection. Have to repair and restart phone several times to get it to work. Its currently not working. Waste of time and money

    Single worst purchase from Best Buy EVER and I've purchased ALOT. This thing never held a charge for very long and in about 2 months will no longer charge AT ALL complete waste of money

    Tried to connect it to my laptop and it crashed my laptop. Had to relaod all software. I am a Bose fan, but this was a terrible buy.

    Mom Loves This Speaker!

    Very portable. Incredible "fill the room" sound quality. Solid build with great look and "feel". Weather resistant and hours of power on a charge. Pair two in party or stereo mode. I use mine at BBQ's ; Fire Pit Parties; and Pickleball play. Everyone loves this speaker, and are usually impressed by the sound and nod when they see the Bose logo. I believe that for the cost, this is the finest portable speaker you can buy.

    I’ve used plenty of Bose speakers in the past and this is as great as the others. Inside the box you get the speaker along with a USB type A to USB type C cable about one foot long song with the usual paperwork. To set up the speaker you want to install the Bose connect app and guides you through the process*. The speaker is supposed to last 12 hours but I find all battery life quotes are quite exaggerating and I find it lasts around 6 hours. Anyways it sounds pretty loud and has plenty of bass. It’s also IP67 rated so you don’t have to worry about it getting wet as well. For some reason if I use a USB type C to USB type C cable along with a 20 watt brick it makes this loud beeping noise and won’t charge and idk if it’s my unit or the product itself is at fault. *PS: for some reason at least on iOS 15 you can’t simply go to the Bluetooth setting to pair this but need to use the app. Kind of annoying but just a warning.

      This speaker will provide you with 12 hours of battery life at typical listening volume. Note, the louder you play your speaker, this can result in more power being used. As for connectivity, you are able to do a direct Bluetooth connection either directly through the Bose Connect app or via your devices Bluetooth settings. This is available for devices Bluetooth 4.2 and the Connect app is available for iOS 11 or newer and Android 7 or newer.

      When charging, we recommend using the provided Bose power cable provided. This speaker has a maximum power consumption of 7 W and has a power requirement of 5 vDC, 0.5 A (1 A recommended) do ensure to be within these ranges to avoid damage.
