No one needs additional apps on their devices. It is nice that you can play what ever you want from your phone. Oddly it smelled really chemically coming out of the box.

The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I did struggle to get it to pair with my phone and my tablet. However, once paired, I havent had conductivity issues.
