Thank you for purchasing and taking the time to review our SoundLink Wireless Around Ear Headphones! I am very sorry to read that you are unhappy with the overall sound quality of the headphones and would highly recommend testing the headphones with another device as well as resetting the headphones by turning the headphones off and waiting 30 seconds > Connecting them to a wall outlet for 5 seconds > Disconnecting the cable and waiting another 10 seconds before powering the headphones back on.
I am also deeply sorry that you was misinformed about the features of the headphones and can confirm that they do not have this feature, and would recommend that you visit the store again to rectify this.

I am a HUGE supporter of Bose, but someone @ Bose dropped the ball on in the headphones department. I tried 3 headphones... bought, tried @ home, returned 2/3. Sadly the typically amazing Bose is pathetic re:headphones. Both Bose I tried would not get loud, I even googled this issue & found blogs others with same issue. I even changed my iPhone settings to attempt increasing sound/volume, no help. Apparently you can try resetting & jump through hoops, which I have no time or patience for as when you pay this much $$, One should have that instantly. I still love my Bose speaker to pieces, however the headphones flat out stink.

Pairing and using the product is more difficult than it needs to be. Since purchasing, the technology and market for headphones have gotten a lot better. I wish I would have waited.
