I bought these for my dad the last time he was in town and he travels a lot. The headphones suited him perfectly, he liked the snug fit. Sound quality is phenomenal ofcourse, they are Bose. I wouldn't be able to commen on the bass though. They come in a very lightweight and attractive case. One of the better wireless headphones out there on the market!!

This was the first "over the ear" headphones I have ever purchased besides the Beats solo series which I finally realized they just completely suck!!! The second I put these Bose sounlink wireless around ear headphones II on, they just felt sooo natural. Then I cranked up the music and OH MY GOD!!!! I was in a different world !!! DEF a must have if your wanting crisp, quality sound which is what i myself was looking for and these def provided that for me to the fullest!! Thank you bose for being... well BOSE!!!!

After using in-ear headphones most of my life, i decided to shop around and look at other options. I tried different ones, but they were all missing something. Then i stumbled upon these and immediately liked the look of them. I tried them on and they were an instant hit. Clarity is great, bass is perfect, and very comfortable. You can feel the quality of them just by touching them. The fact that they're over the ear allows you to listen to your music at a low volume because it drowns out external noise. Bose, in my opinion, nailed this one down perfectly. I've used Beats before, but i think they're more of a fashion statement nowadays. This purchase is worth every dollar.

I am giving these 5 stars because I absolutely love them. I wear them between 2-8 hours in the day and they stay comfortable. I am donating my pair to a family member because after about 5 years and many hours of wear and sweat, the earpiece and surrounding rubber are coming apart. The sound is still great and all of the calling and track change features work perfectly.

cute, functional, convenient, no attached mic

These headphones are super cute. I wanted them to match my all-white setup and they matched perfectly. They're slim and have a very stylish look to them as well if you're concerned about looking silly wearing super bulky headphones, especially I would guess for those who want to wear these out and about, ex. on a run or in the library while studying. The bluetooth capability is great, works seamless and very easy to set up. Makes for an incredible amount of convenience. I think there is some sort of mic embedded in the headphones themselves as my friends and coworkers were able to hear me even when I tested and muted all of the other input/recording devices connected to my computer. However the quality of this microphone was not all too great and most of the feedback that I received was to let me know that my sound was coming in fuzzy, faint, or garbled and somewhat undiscernable for the most part. The sound that I heard with these headphones was of good quality however, which I have come to expect given my experience with Bose and the good quality of the Bose equipment I have used thus far. I ended up buying the SteelSeries Arctis 7 White headphones in addition to these, as those have a portable mic which is actually attached to the headset but retractable/collapsible and extendable as well as mutable. There are quite a few more controls and features on the SteelSeries Arctis 7 headphones, such as muting and changing the dynamic/types of machinery used, but this Bose headset definitely looks a lot more stylish than the Arctis 7 does. If you are using them mostly for listening to music and especially so while you are out and about or at the gym or the library or similar, I highly recommend the Bose headphones! Great buy!

They're comfortable, with excellent sound quality and good battery life. Once paired with a device, it reconnects to that device with ease. I have a streaming device with bluetooth that I had to pair my other headphones with every time. Not with Bose, it connects the moment it's turned on.

Great for noise cancelation&audio, not bass

The quality of these headphones were top notch. Unfortunately the audio quality (specially the bass) did not compare to the 100$ pair of headphones I had at the time (I still have them 7 years later). I prefer more bass heavy music. These Bose headphones were more for classical music. If you want quality audio, not necessarily powerful audio, then buy these. These were great for noise cancellation

    Bose got it right!

Ok, I've purchased 4 top wireless headphones to decided what worked best for me. Everyone will have a different option but here's mine! When I heard, Best Buy had lowered the price of the Bose SoundLink (on ear) Headphones, I thought I'd give them another try. They were, $219. However, when I got there, I saw that they had the Beats Solo Wireless for an amazing, $179 price tag. These were originally priced at ridiculous $300. I bought the Beats, instead. I was surprised at how well balanced the sound was. And, of course they are very stylish. However, the pressure against my head was too strong and I couldn't wear them very long. At $40 cheaper than the Bose, I really wanted to like these! I held onto the Beats (for another week) but purchased the Bose SoundLink (on ear) Great sound. Great balance. Bass levels a little but subdued but ok. Although they are much light, I just couldnt get use to the cushions on my ear. I returned them for the SoundLink2 (Over ear) model that was on sale at $249. Amazing!! Perfect opening for your ears, light pressure against the head but still feels very secure. Slightly better bass with the closed design and the clarity you expect from Bose. The only negative: What's with their 9" charging cord they provide!? WTH! What are you suppose to do with That!? Dangle your headset from a wall or lay them on the floor, next to a socket? Come on, Bose! One last thing: I even tried the Beats Studio Wireless. The most expense pair on this list. A $379 pair on sale at $279. Clearly the worst sound and I was not impressed with the so called, Noise Canceling feature at all! It's also an over the ear design but the ear opening is much smaller than the Bose so they may still press against your ear. I packed those for return after 3 hours! lol Botton line! I have a very critical ear and you won't be sorry with the SoundLink2! Well constructed. Well designed! Bose got it right!

I have been using headphones for over 50 years and I have to say these this set is among the best. Especially for wireless headphone - these have no trouble connecting via bluetooth and are a pleasure to use. The base is deep, but clear, and the overall response is perfect. Nothing is forced about the sound - it is natural and clear. I would recommend these without hesitation

I bought Sony headphones at Best Buy and had to return them. Yes, I paid more than twice for the Bose, but it was so worth the money. Marshmallow soft padding on ears and headband, sound is top notch, as all the Bose we've owned. I'll never make the mistake of buying anything else!

I know the price is alot for this Bose wireless headset. If you are looking the most comfortable and best sound quality headset, then these are ones for you. Quality comes at a price unlike the beats lose to these simply because of the sound quality and the fact that the Bose works without a battery charge via 3.5mm jack.

These are one of the most comfortable pair of headphones I've ever purchased. I also love that I can be connected to two bluetooth devices - it does give me trouble every once in a while when they're both connected, but it's easy enough to switch off the bluetooth on one device when I want to use it on the other.

Average headphones for a high price

I've had these headphones for about 6 months now, and I wear them pretty often and in many situations. My general consensus is: they're alright, but for the price you can get better. The sound quality is actually pretty good, I mean what else would you expect from Bose, but the comfort is mixed. The drivers touch my ears, making it uncomfortable to wear for over 2-3 hours. They also tend to slide off of my head a lot, no matter how I adjust them. The durability is pretty good though, however it comes with a plastic-y feel. Connectivity can be a bit of an issue. They lack any aptX codecs, so the latency can be noticeably bad, especially when paired with multiple sources (computer/phone). Features are rather lackluster. There's no ANC (those would be the QuietComforts), and the companion app also has very little features, I only used it to update the firmware. Overall, these headphones are just alright. Are they worth $220? Not in my eyes, no.

I am sorry that you are unhappy with the comfort of the headphones. Your headphones support HSP, HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, BLE Bluetooth codecs so can be paired with most devices.
