Got these because I have gone through 2 pairs of Sony headphones and wanted to try something new. The sony headphones were tearing and worn out and the sound was just decent. These Bose headphones blow them away!! They sound incredible and they are extremely comfortable while also blocking out noise.

What else can you really expect from Bose except the absolute best? The sound quality is amazing and it has no problem at all pairing with my devices immediately. Battery life is amazing and have never had it below 50% in the last 3 months of owning it. My only gripe is that the ear cups have started to flatten a bit. I imagine in 6 months I will have to purchase replacement cups from Bose. That was a little disappointing.

One of the finest headphones on the market

I congratulate Bose on their consistency in developing the finest headphones, earbuds, and headsets available. Their technology truly is revolutionary, and Bose ought to remain a standard for all sound-quality markets for the rest of our time permitted on this Earth. I was completely blasted when I had a truly revolutionary experience. No headphones I have ever owned came anywhere close to having an iota of sound clarity as the Bose SoundLink AE-II headphones. While enjoying Chopin's Etudes Op.25 by Mehmet Okonsar I felt as if the entire history of Chopin's Etudes was implanted in my memory. This sound experience was even better than what reality could have offered. I may never find a finer pair of headphones.

    Sounds way better when wired

The set is very comfortable, and I was a bit surprised by the audio quality when I used it via Bluetooth, I thought the sounds was decent. However, when you connect via wire, it takes it to another level. I would say, for Bluetooth, the audio quality is decent, but you get a much better quality and more bass and punch when you connect using the wire.

Headphones have a great sound quality and super comfy. Bluetooth range is awesome, I put my phone on a table at the gym and go pretty much anywhere, never cuts off. It has a built-in mic so you can talk with no problem.

    Bose fan honest review

I've been a Bose fan for 20+ years & owned a 1st gen iPod docking station speaker ... Now own a Soundlink II Wireless speaker & a Bose Solo 5 for my TV. I just purchased the Soundlink AE2 headphones this weekend & have used them for about 8 hours. Multi-BT connected to iPad & iPhone 6s. I've been reading reviews for weeks & have to be honest that I'm Bose biased. A few friends have Beats; 1 wireless & the other tethered ... Both like their products. The BT guy says he loves his. No complaints. Their online reviews are solid. Perception is this product has a better bass while Bose is a more engineered sound. Bose got a lot of high marks. Lots of comments about the engineered processing ... I guess I'm so used to the quality & sound that I like it. I'm also a fan of a variety of music genre from blues, country, folk, rock, hip hop, etc. & have found the sound has a "HD" type sound even at low volumes. Many people commenting they "can't believe the big sound" coming out of such a small speaker! I really was searching online for the best in class for a a wireless headset in the $150 - $300 range & kept coming back to Bose QC25 (tethered w/ ANC) or the Bose Soundlink AE2 Wireless ... Tough decision but ultimately the need for being wireless won out!! Pros: Quality Sound w/ a focus on engineering a quality produced sound w/ the high & low ranges covered. Great battery! Unwrapped & had 50% battery. So far, I've fully charged the battery once & have used them for a combined 8+ hours and still have 70% of my battery remaining. Great BT range! I've easily covered the house w/ no loss of signal or connection. Simple to use BT &/or NFC connections. I even connected the headphones using the included audio cord in case your BT battery dies - sounded fine. **HINT** Download & use the App which allows you to control multi-device connectivity feature w/ ease! Comfortable!! I wear glasses on occasion & wore them for a few hours while wearing the headphones - didn't even notice. Overall comfort is good ... Occasionally getting warm. Cons: Sound - it would really be nice to have an equalizer app which allowed the user to adjust the various ranges ... Especially in the 50-60 Hz, 200-500 Hz & 5-10 kHz. Volume - not enough!!! I get these are "Over-The-Ear" format headphones which naturally provide a higher quality & sound-blocking but the max volume is a few points light. I need to have my volume set at least 60% - 70% just to hear all the music. I've seen comments suggesting this is a BT wireless issue but clearly feel this is an issue. I expect more from Bose! This alone is the reason for my 4 out of 5 rating. Overall satisfied customer in Bose once again. Glad I made this decision but wonder if the QC25's might sound better overall.

My son loves his Bose headphones!! He uses them daily. After three years of daily use the one side is not allowing sound thru. Going to see if we can get it fixed but no shame in needing new ones for all the use he’s gotten out of them. We love Bose quality!! He also has a personal waterproof speaker from Bose as well as sunglasses :)

    Really disappointed

So I've had a pair of Bose IE2 earbuds for 3 years and I love them, but I wanted a wireless feature so I thought the soundscape with the wireless around ear headphones would be similar, but I was dead wrong. The SoundLink around ear II headphones were a huge disappointment. No low end whatsoever. Crisp highs, and moderate mids, but no bottom end. I'm not looking to blow my ears off here. I expected that going from one Bose product to another would at least be close. Not even. I just threw away $280.

    Bose Delivers Again

Bose has always figured a way to deliver the best possible sound for the price. Although they may not be for everybody, they have the cleanest, most crisp sound. Depending on the content, such as a live recording of a concert, it's easy to get lost in the moment and believe that you're there. Mine have been fantastic since I got them late last year, and continue to blow me away every time I use them.

    Soundlink vs QC35

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I started out by purchasing the new wireless Bose QC-35 Headphones which cancel noise like no other but the sound quality was just OK, don't get me wrong it was good but not like these. So it's more of a give and take, it seems you sacrifice sound quality (mainly the mid's and low's in some areas) for noise cancelation. I prefer the sound quality of the Soundlink so i returned the others and got these. They may not cancel all the noise out like the others but they sure do sound good!

    Bose® - Soundlink® Wireless Around-ear Headphones

My satisfaction with these headphones was pretty mixed at first. Some times great sound, sometimes not so much. I noticed how much the sound depended on the source (You Tube) mostly. Decided to try an internet radio connection & Boom, they will rock your world. I highly recommend these headphones. Best I've ever owned, thank you Bose for such an awesome sounding pair of headphones!

I had previously Bose AE2w Bluetooth Wireless Over‑Ear Headphones, first bluetooth model from Bose and I still enjoy listening them after so many years. So for this Christmas I bought this pair for my wife after testing them at Best Buy store. Materials are good quality, designed for many hours of listening and talk. Pairing via bluetooth is a bliss with Android and IOs devices.

I purchased these Bose wire less soundlink along with beats studio wireless unity edition.here are my thoughts. The Bose outperform in ease of use since as soon as you turn them on a voice tells you ready to pair and also lets you know that you are paired. Listening to concerts on my 50 inch Sony with pioneer receiver the sound is phenomenal. These are a great set of cans for your home theater but they lack the performance when it comes to iPad iPhone iPod that is where the beats wireless unity edition comes to play
