For the non-Window10 user, right out the box it was charged and ready for use. No problem connecting to my most used bluetooth devices and getting the sound I love through a bit of fiddling with the equalizer and sound setting. My intent was to use this with my desktop that runs Win10 with Bluetooth but found that it would not. Upon further investigating, I found that a slew of other people, from the release of this model, were also experiencing headaches with the compatibility of the two. I tried all the recommended steps that I found on the Bose support website with no joy. If I have to spend **TWO HOURS OR MORE** fiddling with my computers' inner workings, downloading programs, and trouble shooting -JUST- to pair the Bluetooth, I'm gonna say oh hek no. Just skip it. It's 2021, Bose. Fix it or retire it. I trust this brand, usually, but considering the sheer number of people having this same issue well into 2021; I have decided to return this model and try a newer one hoping it works with Win10. In conclusion, this is great right out of the box for the average hand-held device user, with a few sound setting tweaks to get the bass one expects from Bose products. Pairs beautifully and with ease (can also be paired via NFC - super simple). For the Windows 10 user, expect a challenge right out of the box and I would humbly recommend you skip this model all together to save your sanity.

Are really comfortable for the ears and the sound is great. Awesome for hands free talking and it actually rejects noise from the outside.

It’s tough to keep raising the bar, but they did. These sound great and have awesome Bluetooth functionality. Because of the recent “Bose App’s” security issues/scandal I didn’t install it, but you don’t need to. They work perfectly without it. It’s just a way for Bose to harvest personal info about you off your cellphone. Can’t stress enough how great these sound. Good enough that if your audio file is mediocre, you’ll be able to hear it. And the noise cancelling function is superb.

Great headphones, comfortable, lightweight, low profile. Made a huge difference for hearing impaired person listing to music, movies, etc.

This was a gift but I got to use them. I was very happy with the sound quality and noise cancellation. As a bonus these are also very comfortable.

I was initially set on the Apple airpods. I travel frequently and thought bluetooth earphones would be a great convenience. After researching all options I narrowed my decision to between the Bose SoundLink Wireless and the AirPods. I decided for the SoundLink for the basic reason that even as much as I travel I needed a good headset for my home office that would also allow me to have good quality of sound. I kept my old wired headphones for travel and now I enjoy solid bluetooth performance for calls and music at my desk.
