I don't know where all the great reviews are coming from, but pretty much the only things I like about this are the light weight and that it comes with a cable (very rare for headphones nowadays). I wanted to love these, so much so that I traded them in for another pair the first time. The second pair are just as terrible. Sound is tinny and grainy. There is virtually no bass, and the second you hit high ranges it becomes almost screechy. You would think that means mid-range would be ok, but mid is at best grainy. I am super disappointed, because these are the first pair of headphones that don't give me compression headaches. Instead, though, I get a noise headache anytime a song has snare. Not worth it.

It is a good pair of headphones and their noise cancellation is pretty good for its class. But they were not suitable for me as it give me claustrophobic feeling by putting them on. I am more of an earphone guy. But nothing wrong with the quality of sound. Bose is always the best.

The quality of BOSE earphones are unsurpassed. The technology is amazing. A little bit pricey, however, finally broke down and bought my first BOSE product ever. Glad I did. They were a Christmas gift to my daughter. She loves them. Am seriously considering buying another set for myself. From this point on, I will only buy BOSE. The other leading headphones are toys in comparison.

I bought these headphones for my husband as a gift. I tried them out of course and I found that these headphones don’t have the bass like my Sony headphones and I am a bit disappointed encause Bose is supposed to be top of the line and for the money the quality should match in my opinion. I do love the case that it comes in to protect the headphones when not in use. I wish Sony provided a case as well. I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

Had very bad luck with Beats and decided to try Bose. Great sound, very sturdy.

These headphones are outstanding. I would expect nothing left with the Bose name. Unfortunately that work too well....When the user is wearing them and a supervisor (or parent) tries to get the wearer's attention, it is often not possible, without getting in front of the wearer! But they do filter out noise!
