Sound stage for a speaker this size is amazing. If you’re wondering if it’s worth the price the answer is in the features. If you want the absolute best sound quality out of your portable speaker look no further. If raw power and volume is what you’re after, there are some cheaper options that can get you by pretty well. As always with something of this price vs the competition, if you see a sale jump on it, you won’t regret it.

The sound only seems marginally better than the Flex, but the cost is 3 times as much. Quite a bit larger than the Flex, but the sound is still good for its size. Playing two of the Flex together is cheaper and a better experience though.

Posted .Hi John, I'm happy you like the Bose sound in general! It's true that some customers prefer the Max, while others go for the Flex. One advantage the Max has is the AUX port, which the Flex doesn't have. Also, the Max can be played for slightly longer before it needs charging (20 hours at moderate volume).
