Compact and Powerful

Not a good value

The sound only seems marginally better than the Flex, but the cost is 3 times as much. Quite a bit larger than the Flex, but the sound is still good for its size. Playing two of the Flex together is cheaper and a better experience though.

Posted .Hi John, I'm happy you like the Bose sound in general! It's true that some customers prefer the Max, while others go for the Flex. One advantage the Max has is the AUX port, which the Flex doesn't have. Also, the Max can be played for slightly longer before it needs charging (20 hours at moderate volume). I got lucky because it was on sale. The sound quality is amazing! It sounds almost like if the person was right there next to you.

I had a little bit of a hard time getting it to pair the first time to my phone, but once paired it reconnects to my phone almost instantly when powered on. Sounds quality is decent for it's size, although I would prefer deeper bass. Excellent and clear sounds quality for podcasts.
