Small package, big Bose sound

It has surprisingly good sound for such a small speaker. It's not as good as bigger speakers from Bose but it blows most of the other competitors' similar sized speakers away. I've owned Bose products for years and have many other speakers from them. They're all great!

I figured it would have nice and deep bass in a small form factor since that is what bose is known for. It sounded good and the speaker did get loud but the bass for me was a bit lacking. Not sure what i was expecting but it should have sounded much bigger than it did to me. If you already own a flex just buy anorher one and stereo pair them, it will have a similar sound profile and be a little more flexible and portable, and cheaper.

If bass is a little lacking, then moving the speaker closer to a wall or corner, or placing it on or near a hard surface, will automatically increase bass response. Bose Micro Speaker

My first minor complaint is that I can’t stand the speaker upright on its own because its edges are rounded. Sometimes, I wish I had bought a speaker with a flat bottom. The speaker has to lean against something. My second minor complaint is that sometimes there are too many messages being mumbled out. I am happy or fine with the announcement about the battery charge when turning on the speaker. That is all the messages I need.
