The system at default has a very low frequency sound, heavy on the bass as Bose is known for. The fact that you can alter the eq through the app is VERY helpful! Utilizing the eq and adding a second speaker results in a very impressive one room home audio system!! It really is impressive the bass that comes out of such small drivers!

Great sounding speaker that is easy to use & portable

For such a small speaker, the sound is tremendous as would be expected from Bose. It is light and compact and the flexible clip allows it to be attached easily to a backpack, chair back, etc. I would highly recommend this not only for travel, but anywhere space may be limited.

Bought this as a gift , Bose never disappoints. My son loves this speaker , the sound , the size and easy mobility etc. Would recommend this product . Bose always delivers superior sound no matter the size.

The sound quality on this speaker is phenomenal for its size. It can connect to two devices at a time and you can easily switch between them. It will automatically disconnect when it hasn’t been used for awhile to conserve battery power but it’s easy to reconnect. You can turn off the voice prompts that say “connected to —-iPhone “ in the app. Then you just hear a subtle click when you’re connected. I highly recommend this speaker. I’ve wanted a Bose for years and this is affordable. What a difference! I even bought one for a friend and dance partner, so we have great sound wherever we go.

Bought this for hubby and he absolutely loves it! holds a charge forever. He had a beats pill prior and after about a year he could only use for a couple hours. sound is awesome for the compact size, waterproof and so durable! this is a must have for yard work, beach, pool, picnics - love it so much bought 3 more for family members!

Sure, I wouldn't be using this to DJ at a party or anything but this little speaker has plenty of power to use in the shower (it is highly water resistant) and on the worksite (I can hear it over most of my power tools). The sound is clear and has a decent amount of bass. Sounds better than anything else that I have tried at it's size.

Lives up to the Bose reputation. The sound profile and quality is as expected for the price. We bought this on sale primarily to use in the bathroom, and it fits our needs from waterproofing to durability. Also love the color.

I am quite pleased with it; the battery life is excellent. Furthermore, it appears to be quite durable. However, the only aspect that I find less than ideal is the low volume of the talkback system.

Very good sound with good bass with equalizer settings in the Bose app. This model is stereo, while the Flex is mono. Worth the cost, instead of buying two Flex models, I got this on sale. Bluetooth easily pairs with my phone and Google TV (Chromecast).

Purchased this on release, and it is a great product. It sounds fantastic for a speaker this size and with how portable it is. Biggest issue is the price. Really should be $150 cheaper. You’ll enjoy it if you buy now, but you will wnjoy it more if you catch a sale!

Easy to setup. Highly portable and durable. Tried in shower and works fine. The latch to secure the speaker to objects is not so great, but gets the job done. Battery life is good. Sound quality is similar to Soundlink Color. Overall an excellent purchase. But the price is quite high when compared with other products.

Bose is just a superior sound quality then other companies. This thing is the size of breakfast sandwich from a fast food restaurant and the bass/sound is unbelievable. With it being water proof makes it easy just in case of spills or accidents in open bodies of water. I’ve been buying Bose since 18 and now 36, it never disappoints.

*Review of the Bose SoundLink Max** I bought the Bose SoundLink Max hoping to enhance my listening experience, especially given its high price and promised specifications. However, after several weeks of use, I feel disappointed by several aspects that do not justify the cost. **Pros:** 1. **Design:** The speaker has an elegant and compact design that integrates well into any space. The build quality seems robust. 2. **Connectivity:** It offers multiple connectivity options, including Bluetooth, aux, and USB, making it easy to use with various devices. **Cons:** 1. **Sound quality:** Despite the specifications, the sound quality is not that impressive. The bass is weak, and the highs tend to distort at high volumes. This is not what I expected from a speaker in this price range. 2. **Volume:** The maximum volume is lower than expected. In large or noisy environments, it fails to fill the space with enough sound. **Conclusion:** In summary, the Bose SoundLink Max does not meet expectations for its high price.
