Its heavy but sounds great and the battery life is pretty remarkable. The detachable handle was nice on our canoe trip to secure it to the canoe. Would recommend this purchase if you want quality sound and don't mind the heft, its a lunker fo sure.

I love it. The sound quality on this speaker is great. I use this in a conference room with a mixer to play music and microphones on it. PA system on a budget. And it works great! Totally recommend this. Battery lasts for hours, and the quality of it is great too. No complains at all. No issues with connectivity.

Bought the Butter Bar max. Great bass and Bose sound from such a small light speaker. Comes with a handle too. Great gift idea! Can't go wrong!

Purchased this on release, and it is a great product. It sounds fantastic for a speaker this size and with how portable it is. Biggest issue is the price. Really should be $150 cheaper. You’ll enjoy it if you buy now, but you will wnjoy it more if you catch a sale!

The system at default has a very low frequency sound, heavy on the bass as Bose is known for. The fact that you can alter the eq through the app is VERY helpful! Utilizing the eq and adding a second speaker results in a very impressive one room home audio system!! It really is impressive the bass that comes out of such small drivers!

*Review of the Bose SoundLink Max** I bought the Bose SoundLink Max hoping to enhance my listening experience, especially given its high price and promised specifications. However, after several weeks of use, I feel disappointed by several aspects that do not justify the cost. **Pros:** 1. **Design:** The speaker has an elegant and compact design that integrates well into any space. The build quality seems robust. 2. **Connectivity:** It offers multiple connectivity options, including Bluetooth, aux, and USB, making it easy to use with various devices. **Cons:** 1. **Sound quality:** Despite the specifications, the sound quality is not that impressive. The bass is weak, and the highs tend to distort at high volumes. This is not what I expected from a speaker in this price range. 2. **Volume:** The maximum volume is lower than expected. In large or noisy environments, it fails to fill the space with enough sound. **Conclusion:** In summary, the Bose SoundLink Max does not meet expectations for its high price. Although it has an attractive design and good connectivity options, the sound quality and insufficient volume make it not worth recommending. U can’t go wrong with a BOSE.. great sound for a the size.. don’t think price is worth it, but it’s pretty loud for the size.. battery life is not so good on high volume.. but otherwise, it’s a pretty good speaker..
