Best portable speaker I ever own!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this with low expectations because I had experience with other portable speakers and I thought it sounded great, BUT this speaker from BOSE beats all the previous speakers I bought. The low frequency sounds really rumble everything, even when I'm holding it up from the surface. The high frequencies are top notch. Currently using it for my portable desktop setup and it's been a blast!

I replaced it with this speaker and WOW! Make sure you leverage the Bose app! The equalizer lets you fine tune your music to your liking. From vocals to deep thumping base. I am so happy with this speaker!

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I got the Soundlink Max it was on sale (60 bucks off) and I still returned it. It had much more bass than teh smaller soundlinks. The bass was a little "muddy" though. Mids weren't great and highs were meh as well. Only the bass was better than my gen 1 soundlink flex. The flex has a nicer sound for mids and highs but lacks the bass that the max has. For teh typical price, I'd recommend the Sonos Move 2 waaaay over the soundlink max. Much richer sound, nice bass (tighter/cleaner). Someone who like dance music (electronic, house, etc), the max was ok, and a little more bass overall (than move 2), but i'd still recommend teh move 2 even for that. Much richer sound overall and still very good bass (due to being clean bass, it doesn't seem as "bassy" with some club music, but it still has plenty and produces the low frequencies very well. Personally, I would not recommend it for the cost. If it was arpunmd 250 dollars, sure, but for 350-400, no.
