Thank you for sharing your experience with the SoundLink Micro Portable Speaker.
Just to provide some clarification, a maximum of 2 SoundLink Micros can be paired to each other at the same time. Though the Bose Connect app does make the process a bit easier, you can connect the 2 Micros using the buttons on the speakers.
1. Turn on both speakers you want to hear.
2. Be sure one of the two speakers is connected to your Bluetooth device.
3. On the speaker connected to your device, simultaneously press and hold the Bluetooth and Volume + buttons until you hear a voice prompt.
4. On the second speaker, simultaneously press and hold the Bluetooth and Volume – buttons simultaneously until you hear a tone.
- After about 10 seconds, “Party mode” is heard from both speakers simultaneously to confirm you can play audio in unison from both speakers.

The first day I had it, my kids thought I was playing music from a sound bar! I hooked up my Echo Dot to it and that was pretty easy to do. All you have to do is tell Alexa to connect to Bose speaker and it does it just like that! I've wasted so much money buying $40 speakers that I thought had good sound quality. I was seriously wrong about that lol! It's also very light weight, compact and has a durable strap on the back to put it about much anywherem my kids put it on their electric scooters and backpacks. I really recommend this product!

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the newest Speaker in the Bose Portable speaker segment and is a great speaker with a few issues. Inside the box: You get the speaker itself Manuals USB type C to type C cable and AC adapter As for the speaker itself it's easy to setup you on Android and iPhones. This speaker as far as I know is the first product that supports multi link so you can have two phones connected to it at the same time and switch between them both. The only problem with this is that it has no microphone so you can't use it as a speakerphone. Also this supports snapdragon sound so it supports Apt X adaptive but not the older apt x. So you can get only AAC, or SBC on the major Android phones out like Samsung or Google. Of course you can only get AAC on iOS devices so this isn't an issue if you own an iPhone or iPad. Onto the battery life they say it has a 20 hour battery life and about 3 hours if you blast it. I like that Bose gave us that number as well . As far as sound goes it gets loud and the bass is decent . I wouldn't say it gets a ton of bass tho .it's also IP67 rated so you don't need to worry about bringing this outside though. .my issue with this speaker is the MSRP of $399. I have heard speakers that just sound as good if not better for under $200. At MSRP it's hard to recommend this speaker unless you don't mind the premium for the Bose name.

I'm happy to hear that you found the speaker easy to set up, that you're happy with its volume, and that you're quite happy with the bass performance. Don't forget that bass output can be increased by checking the bass controls on your connected device, or by moving the SoundLink Max speaker closer to a wall, or corner, or placing it on or near a hard surface. It is true that the SoundLink Max doesn't feature a built-in mic.

Downloaded the app to my phone, followed the prompt, it updated the software on the speaker and after 20 minutes I was in business. It needed charging so I plugged it into an outlet and in about 3 hours I should be fully charged. Hooked it up to iheart radio and am loving the Christmas tunes blasted thru the house LOL. It was so easy to hook up to Bluetooth, and read the manual on my phone. Love that it is waterproof, small, and powerful enough for me. Will take it with my outside and from room to room while I clean the house!! Another great Bose product!!

Posted .I am so sorry to hear this. Did you know all Bose products come with a limited warranty and even if you are out of warranty we can still help! It is strange that you are having the same issue with both speakers. The SoundLink Micro needs a 5 VDC, 1.5 A power supply. Anything more than this will damage it and anything less wont charge it. Is this the supply you are using? Reach out to us if you need assistance.

I chose this model over the SoundLink Flex due to the roomier sound, longer battery life and ability to charge mi phone. it is pricier but I found it is worth it.
