    I have the soundlink flex and i love that little speaker so naturally i wanted this guy when it came out. I figured it would have nice and deep bass in a small form factor since that is what bose is known for. It sounded good and the speaker did get loud but the bass for me was a bit lacking. Not sure what i was expecting but it should have sounded much bigger than it did to me. If you already own a flex just buy anorher one and stereo pair them, it will have a similar sound profile and be a little more flexible and portable, and cheaper.

      Thanks for your review of the SoundLink Max speaker! I'm glad you liked the sound and volume overall. If bass is a little lacking, then moving the speaker closer to a wall or corner, or placing it on or near a hard surface, will automatically increase bass response. You can also adjust the bass and treble controls on your connected device, if possible. Our support team will also be on hand, should you require further assistance.     Been buying blue tooth speakers for years, had a few other Bose speakers that were great. But this is the finest portable speaker that I have used. Love the weight, handle, battery life, sound.... not much more. Worth the cost, go Bose !
