This is not the first one of these devices I have owned, however, it is the best by far. 1. Instantly connects to the phone when turned on [see 4 below]. 2. Audio clarity is excellent 3. The status lamps are too dim for daytime use, not a significant fault when one gets acquainted with the device. 4. Have found it only connects when first turned on, requiring that it be turned off when the cell phone is removed from car so that it can be turned on in presence of the phone to perform the search for connectivity
