Bose is consistent, effective, and well worth the few extra dollars over other portable sound equipment. Bassy lows and dynamic range are excellent in this compact delivery, and battery life is superb.

Having tried two other popular brands, the BOSE Max was FAR superior in sound. I'm not looking for a party speaker that sounds flat or accentuates the highs but not the lows. At 70% this speaker has plenty of sound to do my house or outdoor deck. I would suggest to BOSE that they developed a more robust app to include many presets and a multi channel eq to replace the 3 channel very basic eq. Otherwise, this is the best wireless speaker I've found that is waterproof and solid for drops.

I think this Bose speaker is my best purchase, the sound is excellent and clear, the bass is incredibly.

Skeptical at first and listening to as demo in store so, I say why not and purchase it since it was on sale at that time for $329 plus I had some Best buy rewards to use towards it. Out of the box sounds good, but once dail down to a pleasing EQ to my liking it’s been my everyday bluetooth speaker. My previous speaker was the Soundcore X600, and comparing to the bose soundlink max I said the X600 still sounds good and is half the price, but the only thing it lacks is bass compare to the Bose. Overall, it’s a good balance speaker and sounds good in person so give it a try.

I bought the soundlink max because my 1st gen soundlink which had an awesome sound was stolen in my move to Hawaii so to replace that soundlink i decided to purchase the soundlink max although I do believe my old soundlink had better sound I was impressed with the sound of the max. But believe me i sure do miss my 1st gen soundlink!!!

Buy now for the most amazing bass and clarity in voice. The battery lasts forever and ever. Small package with big payout. Buy Bose and nothing else. We use this with family BBq. We love it so much we’re buying another one.

Sounds amazing lots of bass and lots of battery life

Love the bass and sounds. Speaker sounds bigger than it actually is. I can have it at 30% volume, walk away and it sounds like a car is bumping music outside.

I tried many speakers before landing on this one and I was not disappointed! I absolutely love the Bose SoundLink Max. The sound is powerful, clear, and the bass hits perfectly without being overwhelming. It fills any space—indoors or outdoors—and the battery easily lasts all day. It feels premium, rugged, and worth every penny. This is hands down one of the best portable speakers I’ve owned.

Best sound!!! My husband does construction and speakers get really dirty. It is so easy to clean and it looks like brand new after wiping it off with a damp cloth. It connects fast, the color is beautiful. It is easy to carry. Very stylish!!! It was a great purchase. My husbands does not leave the house without it. It is amazing how a such small thing can sound so loud and clear.

I'd have a few previous versions of the Bose Bluetooth speaker and every time I upgrade I'm not disappointed. The sound from this one is amazing, I always wonder how something so small can produce such great sound. The sound is clear, loud, and exactly as I'd expect. Nobody likes paying more, but this one is worth it.

Amazing sound once I adjusted the EQ. Sound out of the box is not great. Loud, full spectrum sound! Battery last all day at the beach!

Very deep bass! But it’s not overbearing and if it is the app has an eq to adjust the bass to your liking as well as the treble and mids. I think the speaker sounds the best at about 60-70% volume range. No issues in terms of battery life, love that it pairs as a power bank as well. Can fully charge my 15 pro max and STILL have a lot left.

As always top of the line performance with Bose. Amazing bass, clear crisp audio and great overall look. It’s beefy but not too heavy just right for travel and hanging out in small spaces.
