The sound is room filling, customizable in the Bose app, and out of the box provides a great experience. The speaker is not small, but not as big as you might expect. It is approximately 10.5” x 5” x 4”. It has a grippy rope and rubberized carrying handle. The handle gives it a playful look and is extremely practical. The blue color is really nice and subtle. Easy pairing on Android devices with Google Fast Pair worked great on a Pixel phone. It uses bluetooth 5.3 and supports high quality steaming on Android devices. It also paired easily with an iPhone and an iPad and sounded great. The battery life is stated at 20 hours, and I’ve been getting just over that, guessing it can vary a bit depending on steam quality and/or volume. You can also use the USB type C port to charge a device. There is also an aux port that could be used to connecting devices. The sound is really incredible. The bass is unreal from a device this size. Mid tones are clear and full, and upper tones are bright but not tinny. It fills a rather large room easily, and is great to have poolside. It also support IP67 with durability from splashes and short submersions. This is a portable powerhouse of sound in a premium product from a well known and trusted speaker brand. I easily recommend getting this if you are looking for a portable speaker.
