Great little Wireless Speaker
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth speaker is a great value at just under $100 dollars. I've had a few bluetooth speakers it's by far the best sounding one I've owned for this price range. The only gripe I have is, after having their new soundlink round wireless speaker and seeing what a circular speaker brings to the table in terms of filling the whole room with sound, it's hard to ignore the difference. But the difference between the two are 300 to $100 so a drop it sound quality is expected. The battery life is decent and the weight is good. The speaker itself feels solid and robust and fits in the palm of your hand. I can easily seeing taking this to the beach or anywhere where we want portable music and not worrying about it. It has a nice magnetic attachment on the back to hook it to certain things to project the sound. The only other gripe I have is they decided to use this matte finish again which I've found tends to get a little smudged over time and show fingerprints no matter if you try to clean it. But for under $100 dollars I don't think you can find a better wireless speaker. Bose always brings a quality product.

Great portable speaker

You can switch between multiple bluetooth devices and an auxiliary input. I haven't tried the auxiliary input yet but have no reason to believe it won't work. The handle is a nice touch. It's comfortable and can be removed and replaced with an optional shoulder strap. Haven't bought the shoulder strap, and probably won't since I don't need to use it is such a manner, but for someone who needs that, it's a great feature. It advertises that it's waterproof. While I have no intention of deliberately testing that feature, it's comforting to know that I can use it in wet areas without worrying about it. Or if I forget it outside overnight, I don't have to worry about it getting wet. I will be using this in my garage mostly. The ruggedness should be a benefit in that setting. But it will get dusty. The only complaint I have is the rubbery texture. While it feels nice when it's clean, it shows every bit of dirt and it difficult to clean off.
