    At low volume it's sound is decent. Higher volumes, it becomes muddy, indistinct, and the synthetic "bass" is very pronounced. I've owned a few of their products over the years, and for the price of this speaker I really expected more. I would consider myself to have detailed hearing but no audiophile. Seems to be built durably and the waterproof feature is a huge plus. Battery life is not the best if you aren't listening to it in a small cubicle

    Bose does not disappoint with this Mini, waterproof Bluetooth speaker. My family travels a lot so these speakers are very handy. I have the Mini sound link and some other larger Bose wireless speakers and I’m blown away at the sound quality coming from these speakers. Great bass response and crisp highs. For that price you can’t go wrong, these have been great at the pool side and on out doors excursions.

    It is shocking how much sound comes out of this little speaker. Have had other brands that also sound great, but Bose has NO sound distortions at the higher end of the volume. You just don't seem to get that with the others. Glad I got it.
