Thank you for sharing your experience with the SoundLink Micro Portable Speaker.
Just to provide some clarification, a maximum of 2 SoundLink Micros can be paired to each other at the same time. Though the Bose Connect app does make the process a bit easier, you can connect the 2 Micros using the buttons on the speakers.
1. Turn on both speakers you want to hear.
2. Be sure one of the two speakers is connected to your Bluetooth device.
3. On the speaker connected to your device, simultaneously press and hold the Bluetooth and Volume + buttons until you hear a voice prompt.
4. On the second speaker, simultaneously press and hold the Bluetooth and Volume – buttons simultaneously until you hear a tone.
- After about 10 seconds, “Party mode” is heard from both speakers simultaneously to confirm you can play audio in unison from both speakers.

The first day I had it, my kids thought I was playing music from a sound bar! I hooked up my Echo Dot to it and that was pretty easy to do. All you have to do is tell Alexa to connect to Bose speaker and it does it just like that! I've wasted so much money buying $40 speakers that I thought had good sound quality. I was seriously wrong about that lol! It's also very light weight, compact and has a durable strap on the back to put it about much anywherem my kids put it on their electric scooters and backpacks. I really recommend this product!

I had every intention of using it in my car because my radio is broken. I’m not sure if I just got a bad one but it was at least 50% less loud than the one on display in the store. I ended up returning it. Sound quality was terrible, battery life was short, I’d like to keep looking to buy something a little bigger.

My first speaker lasted a few months before having the problem, 2nd one just two weeks! Needless to say I’m disappointed in in the BOSE quality

Posted .I am so sorry to hear this. Did you know all Bose products come with a limited warranty and even if you are out of warranty we can still help! It is strange that you are having the same issue with both speakers. The SoundLink Micro needs a 5 VDC, 1.5 A power supply. Anything more than this will damage it and anything less wont charge it. Is this the supply you are using? Reach out to us if you need assistance.
