Just purchase a Soundlink Max this morning. I already have 2 Flex that I pair for stereo sound. They are good but compared to the max It is no contest. Max is unbelievable, better Bluetooth and everything else. If you can spare some change, you will not be disappointed. Excellent speaker from Bose.

The downloading of the software and pairing of the speaker was quick and painless as expected. What surprised me was the sound quality that sprung from the speaker at all sound levels. Whether playing at a low studying level volume or cranking it up to run on a treadmill, the sound quality remained the same. Bose has proven that great things do come in small packages!!! I will look for other Bose products when I upgrade my sound system.

Great sounds! deep base but expensive!! compared it to my soundcore motion boom plus and tbh its actually louder than this soundlink max!.. yes go on youtube and see reviews but all are done with in 2 feet distance. i placed both speakers against the wall in my garage and walked away about 20 ft. had the volume set the same on both and the montion boom plus was way louder!. will i keep the Bose yes.. only because i was able to price match and had some rearwards points. if it wasn't for the savings i would of returned this speaker the next day and stick with my soundcore speaker. buy it and try the distance review..
