Posted .Hi there, thank you for your feedback! Just to clarify, the SoundLink Max Portable Speaker comes with a USB-C cable, but it does not include a power adapter in the box.
To ensure proper charging, please use a power source that provides a minimum of 5V and 3A. This will help maintain optimal performance and battery health.

Defective battery? who knows why the battery drain occurs but it drains all by itself. Full charge depletes to nothing while completely turned off in two weeks time

Leaving the unit on when not in use will drain the battery. However, if the system does not detect a signal (Bluetooth® or AUX) for 30 minutes*, it will shut off. To minimize the battery from draining, we recommend turning the system off manually.

I connected it to my phone and was setting it on the side unfortunately it slept and fell inside the pool. My wife dove in the water to pull it out. Amazingly it continued to play right out of the water. It is water proof and It's still playing great.
