Got the Bose SoundLink Micro and the sound is great as with all Bose products but it only works with Apple and Android apps. It will not work with a Windows 10 (or any other Windows) computer, only on a phone or tablet.. I am unsure if it will work with an Apple computer. Bose says this product is waterproof. I haven't tried it and am afraid to do that since the USB charging port is not covered. I have several other waterproof speakers and all ports are covered and sealed. This product is meant to be used on the go (hiking, biking etc). If you aren't going to use it for that you need another bluetooth speaker. The Bose site says you can drop it in the ocean but I am skeptical since like I said the charging port is exposed and I hate to ruin it trying that out. There is little documentation in the package except to tell you to download the app to connect the speaker. I guess I still like some documentation even though I can look it up online. I would have really liked to be able to use this speaker with my computer and /or server. But can't. This speaker is for a certain niche. If you want to use it with your phone on the beach, while hiking or biking it may be for you but otherwise you want another speaker.

Man, I love this thing. I have always been a Bose fan and love all of their products that I own. The minute I picked up the box it was evident this thing is a beast, very hefty. The SoundLink Max is amazing and sounds great. I may need to get second. Keep up the great work Bose!

You couldn't ask for a better sound. I originally had the smaller one and it was great, but this one is top tier.

I can believe how much sound this small speaker has. I have the soundlink 2 and have tried the revolve and this one is almost just as loud! It is slightly deeper sounding but this still sounds amazing. Setup was simple and under a minute like always. I love that it has a clip, and the speaker is small enough to just throw in your bag and go. My husband wants it to bring to work with him now and I want to keep it in my bag for hanging out with friends and family. I’ve been primarily using it in my living room and it filled the room with sound just as well as my larger soundlink 2 did. I am completely shocked. I would recommend this to everyone. Just like every bose product I tried they are unbeatable.

Expensive, and cannot get it to work. I charge and charge, and then you cannot get it to turn off. Terrible! Don't waste your money

Nice sound for the size. This little guy doesn’t sound quite as good as my larger boss speakers but it’s just the right size to take with you wherever you go. Only thing that that could make it better would be a better handle or clip and maybe provide the case that goes with it for free instead of a separate charge.

As far as Bose is concerned I had high expectations. I've had better luck with a JBL mini speaker that I purchased. The sound of the Bose was lacking something I quite can't put my finger on.

This little speaker produces a surprisingly big sound!! This Bose soundlink micro Bluetooth speaker literally fits in the palm of my hand and the size is the only thing small about it. The set up took all of 5 minutes and that’s from syncing the speaker to my iPhone 7 to downloading the Bose connect app. Once connected I played a variety of music and the this little speaker fills a room like you wouldn’t believe. My kids were amazed with how good it sounds. While playing music at high volume I didn’t notice any distortion. I can’t wait to use this speaker on my next ATV ride, I’m sure it will impress my buddies.

I have had this speaker for a couple of weeks now. In that time, I have taken it to work, taken it golfing and used it out in the yard while working out there. I am impressed with the sound quality, the richness of the sound, the clarity when listening to music as well as using the speakerphone and the over all size of the speaker. I have a loop on my backpack, and the rubber strap fits right in, so I am able to carry the speaker around on my strap with no issues. I have a number of Bose products and I am always impressed with the products they make. I would not hesitate to recommend this to a friend.

Wanted to use strictly as speaker for cell phones. Difficult to set up for a novice. Could not answer and hang up calls. Sound using cell poor compared to lower cost items. Well made though.

I received the Micro Bluetooth speaker a few weeks ago. I have been contemplating buying a Bose product for some time now. When I initially received I wasn't sure if it would work for me. I was wrong! I absolutely love it. The size is deceiving. I did not think it would sound as good as it did. Even though I know Bose products that I have witnessed have amazing sound, I wasn't sure. It sounds GREAT! I carry it every I go. A case of some sort would have made it even more great but I'm guessing with the rugged feature it is not necessary. I'm very pleased with this small package!!!

This product was great for about a year. I only used it maybe 6 times in that year . Doesn't work anymore , won't power on and won't connect . And now its too late too get a return , do not waste your monry .

I received this product as a tester and I am providing a review after using it for some times. First impression, it looks cute and nice, easy to hold and setup is easy. Install the Bose app and follow the instructions. I do like the sound quality, it has a good bass, midrange, however, lacking in its treble. It doesn't sound clear when certain music is played. I would recommend this anyone who wants a great portable Bluetooth speaker. The strap at the back is pretty handy. You can strap it to any poles or handles. It is pretty sturdy, doesn't fall off

I used this speaker while traveling to Kentucky to hit the bourbon trail. I must say the speaker sound was great as we used it in the apartment we stayed in. I was watching football from my phone and used the speaker to make it sound as if the TV was on while in another room and it worked great. The speaker can be played at a loud volume and still sound clear. There is minimal bass with this speaker, only one this size that i have heard with a good bass is Sony XB 10. The strap on the speaker to hold it to something is nice, but i used it as a holder for the charging cord. That was a very nice feature as i did not have to search in my bag to charge it, the cord was just attached to the speaker by strapping it on. Overall i had a good experience with this speaker and would recommend it to a friend.

Great value and sound for the money! Durable, and nice size to take anywhere!

To begin with, I don't consider a speaker that's 3.25" square micro. It's small but heavy for its' size. It has a stated 6-hour battery life which seems odd considering how heavy it is. There are similarly sized speakers with comparable features that aren't nearly as heavy. It has a rubber strap that's designed to fit around a backpack strap, bike handlebar or a belt. It seems a bit lightweight considering how heavy the speaker is. It's an "intelligent" Bluetooth speaker and requires that an iPhone or Android app be downloaded for use. The app will also update the speaker firmware when installed. I don't know if you can use the speaker out of the box without the app. The instructions specifically instruct you to download the app to set up the speaker. It's a speaker and it's a BOSE...it has good sound considering the size, but like most smaller speakers it seems to be designed to use with a pair! It has a "party mode" where it can connect to other speakers in the room to created a "wider sound".
