With its 6 hour battery life and waterproof rating, it seems like this will be the perfect speaker for around the pool, beach, or taking with you on your bike. I think it would even be ideal for camping since it's small, fairly light, and, again, you don't have to worry if it gets some water on it. The speaker was super easy to set up and get connected to my phone. There are virtually no instructions with it, but you don't need any once you get the Bose app installed. There's a quick start guide in the app for the first time you connect, then after that you're in business. I don't know anyone with another Micro yet, but the party mode where you can connect two together looks interesting. If you're looking for a compact, rugged, waterproof speaker with superb sound I don't think you'll be disappointed with this speaker--another awesome product from Bose.
