Wow! What a powerful bluetooth speaker! Amazing bass and long lasting battery. Beautiful sound. Perfect size for travelling. Not too heavy. Cant go wrong with a Bose. Best speakers always! By the way, really waterproof. A friend has one of these and it dropped on their hottub without anybody noticing. One week later when they got again in the hottub found it at bottom of the hottub. They turned it on and it worked perfectly as if nothing happened. Amd many months after this incident it still works fine. So they are waterproof for real. Buy it! You won't regret it. Very happy with my purchase.

    Bose mini speaker

This is Exactly what I wanted from Bose, a water resistant speaker and tough enough to handle extream situations, I'm currently deployed in Afghanistan and this speaker is loud enough with perfect bass for its size, the sound quality is unmatched to the JBL flip 3 I have, though the JBL is louder but does not that the quality or bass I wanted. You get what you pay for with Bose products, now mind you this is a tiny speaker so don't think you are gonna get the sound like the Soundlink Mini, it's a bigger speaker thus bigger sound. But if your looking for light weight and durable to carry into any situations, this is the speaker for you. I highly recommend this product for any Bose fan

I use this speaker every day, and it has been worth it. The sound fills the room without distortion, and the bass is deeper than I expected. It’s easy to move around thanks to the handle, and the battery lasts a long time. I also like that it’s durable and can handle being used in different rooms. It’s simple to pair and works smoothly with my phone. Definitely one of my favorite purchases.

Best little speaker you can get. It’s small and compact easily transportable the bass on it gives my movies /music that extra kick .Since it’s encased with the silicon it’s durable and water resistant.Connects via Bluetooth instantly.I also connect it to my laptop which has a crappy speaker and now the audio is clear and vibrant.Charges fast and has a strap to attach it to something if you choose to carry it around.

Waterproof. Great sound, great battery. Only thing I would change is making the strap a little more difficult to unhook. Great on a pack but I get nervous about the strap on my SUP. Still, definitely a happy customer here! I wear hearing aids so the crispness of this sound makes a huge difference especially at low volumes for me. The Bluetooth connectivity works great too.

Was looking for a new speaker with a longer charge life that was water proof/resistant so I can listen to music while showering and getting ready. Have a Bose Sound Link Mini that I love but got tired of carrying from one level of the house to another. Did some searching and found this little guy. Was worried about the sound quality because it's so small but went to BB and they had one on display and the sound was amazing. It's very loud and the sound quality is as good as any other Bose speaker. They were also on sale, so it was meant to be. There's a secure strap on the back so you can take it anywhere (bike, back pack, etc...) and I can hang it from a hook in the shower. It's on the far side from the shower head and high up so it doesn't get submerged but so far so good from the moisture. I believe it is actually submersible but probably not going to test that on purpose. But it's nice to know it's probably protected from water. It's small, sleek, light weight, super easy to pair with the app and has a great battery life and there's no better sound quality out there.

The sound quality exceeded my expectations. I was impressed that I could hear every note of each song clearly as this little speaker’s sound effortlessly filled the room and beyond. It was easy to use of course, equipped with a few controls on the device to power on/off, adjust volume, play/pause and connect to Bluetooth - it has all the function I need. My fiancé loves the size and how conveniently it travels with us, awesome for on the go and because it’s waterproof it can go anywhere. The small size is definitely something she would feel more comfortable toting than a larger speaker. If she likes it, it’s a win!

Great sounds! deep base but expensive!! compared it to my soundcore motion boom plus and tbh its actually louder than this soundlink max!.. yes go on youtube and see reviews but all are done with in 2 feet distance. i placed both speakers against the wall in my garage and walked away about 20 ft. had the volume set the same on both and the montion boom plus was way louder!. will i keep the Bose yes.. only because i was able to price match and had some rearwards points. if it wasn't for the savings i would of returned this speaker the next day and stick with my soundcore speaker. buy it and try the distance review..

Best sound!!! My husband does construction and speakers get really dirty. It is so easy to clean and it looks like brand new after wiping it off with a damp cloth. It connects fast, the color is beautiful. It is easy to carry. Very stylish!!! It was a great purchase. My husbands does not leave the house without it. It is amazing how a such small thing can sound so loud and clear.

    Surprising For The Size

I was honestly surprised when I heard this speaker the first time around. Sure, it may just be one speaker but the passive radiators in this little guy make the bass so much boomier and punchier than you'd expect for a speaker this small. Now, don't get it twisted, this isn't gonna beat the bass of even something like a JBL Flip 5 that has a larger driver, but if you've got $100 and you need a speaker for a small room or for moving on the go, it doesn't get much better than this. The built in strap makes it perfect for attaching to bikes and other things and it holds on pretty well. It's pretty waterproof but I'd be careful around the charging port since it doesn't have a cover and is just exposed 24/7 but beyond that, it's a solid little speaker.

Great sound for the size. I connect them with another one or with a bigger bose speaker. Makes for great sound and spread for a bigger area. Especially use this at the beach. Just attach to an umbrella or anything that works. I use this riding my bike. Just put it on the handle bars. Not only great sound for the size but tue battery lasts a long time. The fact that its water proof and dust proof is amazing. I use at the beach, it gets sand on it and just knock it off. I even forgot it outside in the rain overnight once and it was perfectly fine. Stong durable speaker made for life and adventures!

I've had this for over a year and love love love it.. the sound is epic coming out of this tiny device.. one time my home theater system stopped working so I used this and couldn't tell the difference! No problems connecting to the bose app for battery intel... the battery life after a year hasn't phased at all! If I were you and thinking if getting this ..well don't hesitate its totally worth the buy.... its great for road trips, artist adventures to take with you when you want to zen out an draw and listen to music, perfect to listen to the game when out walking, even great for using while you are cooking.. you name it.. Im thinking of getting a larger one for my home theater.. but would recommend this over everything else!

Pleased with this purchase. I own several portable Roland sound systems with great sound, but they are heavy and take up a lot of space. This Bose Bluetooth speaker is small, lightweight, rechargeable, and sounds great. I chose to use the Bose over the July 4th weekend because it is fully capable without the bulk and weight of my other sound systems. I may buy another to have stereo. Worth the investment, would buy again.

The sound quality out of this little speaker is right on par with the Bose brand name. It is small, lightweight, and very portable. There's a soft clip on the back that makes it easy to secure the speaker to my backpack or camping gear so it stays safe and out of the way. Seems like such a small thing, but I also really like the surface texture. It's smooth but not glossy (no part of this speaker feels like plastic), and the texture makes it much less likely to slip on surfaces. Overall a great buy for the price, and I'm really happy with this purchase.

The Bose SoundLink Max is the latest iteration to the SoundLink family, a well respected line up of portable Bluetooth speakers. Does this one live up the name, and as its own name suggests, provide the Maximum experience? Lets take a listen and find out. The packaging is clean and straightforward, with an emphasis on minimal use of plastic or Styrofoam. Refreshingly, the speaker comes with both a USB-C cable and a high wattage charger, bucking a recent trend of not including chargers with products. Other than those two items, some basic documentation, and the speaker, there is nothing else in the box. The speaker itself looks like a grown up version of the SoundLink Flex. It has side grilles for the passive radiators, a set of buttons on the top, and the carrying handle. It’s an understated design with no flashing lights or other gimmicks, which is what a speaker should be, in my opinion. The Blue Dusk color is very on trend and looks great. Inside, the speaker features two woofers and a tweeter, and does support stereo sound, which is nice to not have to link two smaller speakers together. It also supports Bluetooth 5.4, finally moving the line away from the older Bluetooth 4 standards. Another nice include is an analog audio input, letting you connect it to any number of devices, like a turntable if you are hopping on the vintage audio trend of late. You can also use the battery in the speaker to reverse charge your phone or other device by plugging it into the USB-C port. I do wish there were dust covers on the ports to keep sand and liquids out of them, especially the aux input port. If you are going to take it outside you might want to get a couple of dust plugs for the ports to keep stuff out of there. After charging the speaker the recommendation is to connect it and use the Bose app to configure things like the EQ, apply any product updates, and customize the shortcut button. Weirdly, the shortcut button right now has just two options – configure it to switch to the line in input, or be kind of an oddly hacked up interface only for Spotify. I left it at input switching. You don’t have to use the Bose app if you don’t want to, but a few controls do require connecting it to the app from time to time. After connecting, it’s time for a listen. It’s immediate that this by far has the most bass of any SoundLink speaker to date. It’s not room shaking, as there are limits to the size and power of a portable speaker, but it is present for sure. It also has a very wide stereo sound stage, remarkably so for a smaller speaker, especially at the sweet spot of about 4-5 feet away. Bose is claiming they are using some of their virtual surround enhancements normally reserved for a soundbar in here, and there is kind of an uncanny depth to some audio tracks that does sound more like a surround sound setup than just stereo. It may also lead to kind of an overprocessed sound on occasion, with Charle Puth’s “Left and Right” (which I used to test the stereo separation) having an oddly distorted sound at some moments in the drums. This could either be an issue with the track’s encoding or how the speaker is processing it, and Bose may still be working the kinks out of how their sound processing works with this specific speaker. I found the speaker with the default EQ to be a little bright and actually a little lacking in bass when used outside. I tuned the EQ to +5 bass and -2 treble to find what I found to be a more balanced sound. It can get SUPER loud at full volume. Overall, it sounds good, which at this premium price point, it should. As anyone with other SoundLink speakers know, one feature of the SoundLink family is the ability to link SoundLink speakers together in a “party mode” to spread sound around a space. Sadly, this speaker, despite the name SoundLink, does not actually link to any of its SoundLink cousins. In fact, it uses the Bose app, not the Bose Connect app, so it sits outside of the SoundLink line and only seems to share the name and the look. That said, this speaker is quite capable of filling a space with sound on its own, and having stereo means you don’t need two speakers linked together for stereo sound. You can link it to some other Bose smart speakers as well, but it's still a little odd that the SoundLink Max can’t link to the other SoundLink speakers. Overall, this is an expensive, premium portable speaker that punches well above its size. Showing up at a party with it or using it when you have guests over will almost certainly get comments about how much sound is coming out of this still relatively compact package. Portable, modern Bluetooth and charging capabilities, and still having an analog input make for a well rounded speaker that will keep your party rocking for hours.
