At first, I assumed it was the wire, so I tried another one. Still nothing. I even used a new block and wire, but it was dead to me at that point. I called Best Buy, but since I didn’t get the protection plan, I was basically out of luck and felt scammed by Bose. On the positive side, the speaker sounds good and packs a punch for such a small device. However, based on my experience, I don't think I'll be buying another Bose speaker again.
