I used this to connect to a Dell Inspiron 5675 gaming desktop that had been stubborn to connect with another bluetooth speaker that I had. This pairing succeeded on the first go. Sound is on par with what I was expecting. Power button and pairing button are at the top side above the Bose logo - microusb charging port is between them with appropriate indicator lights. Volume controls are on the face of the speaker just below the Bose logo. No instructions are on the box or inside the box so it is up to you to know how to connect this to the media source - something that I am seeing that is the norm for manufacturers (they all seem to assume we've connected such devices in the pass which I think is unacceptable). It works well enough and is as good as what is out there. I do like the size of the unit - it does not stand up though it does have a nice rubber strap on the back that would allow you to place over a bar or pole so that the speakers on both sides might get a proper exposure to empty space.

I had no idea that I even needed this item until i tried it. It was so easy and intuitive to set up and the sound quality is amazing! I’ve used this in so many places that I never thought that I would be able to bring music with me. For the money, this speaker is definitely worth it!

This thing sounds amazing. It boggles my mind the quality of sound BOSE gets out of such a tiny device. One downside is that it automatically turns on anytime I turn on a device it is paired with. I haven't figured out how to turn that feature off. Another downside is it only gets about five hours on a charge. But I would certainly recommend this to anybody looking for a small bluetooth speaker.

I've been using this speaker for a couple weeks now. I've used it with an iphone 6 and iphone 8. Out of the box, syncing was extremely straightforward. I did have to charge the device out of the box. Preferably, I'd like for items to at least have a minimal charge so you can connect before charging, but it's not a major issue. Once the device is paired, it is near instantaneous to connect to your device when you turn it on. It reminds me of the connection integration between apple and beats, which is a major positive considering apple has no affiliation with bose unlike beats. A nice option feature (not sure if to credit apple or bose) is that you can view the actual charge percentage on your iphone battery section. I appreciate the integration in that you can only gauge your battery so much with a 5 light meter, as is shown on the device. Overall, the sound quality is great. The music does damper a bit with heavy bass, but I don't see this as a negative since it is protecting the speaker. While the sound does damper, it doe not reduce the sound quality delivered. I only have a couple minor cons. The first is that there is no aux input. I understand that aux is slowly being phased out, but I would like to see it continue as an option for bluetooth speakers. Not only do they typically stay in one spot, using aux for friends is much easier than using party mode. The only other issue is that I noticed the sound distorts a bit if you stand the speaker up on a table/counter with a back as opposed to laying it down. The sound quality diminishes quite a bit when doing this. It almost sounds a bit like the speaker is underwater. If you set the speaker down on a surface you won't experience this issue. Overall, this is a great speaker that I would recommend to anyone. I do think the price could be a bit better (the JBL clip 2 is only $60), but you know you are getting a quality product with Bose.

I had trouble from the beginning in getting this to sync with my phone. I like the sound however I do not like that it is not loud enough like if you are working in the yard or garage . I like that it is durable and that it has the protective rubber coating. The sound is also nice , just wish that it was louder for outside and easier to set up for people over the age of 30.

Excellent little speaker. Others that I have are much larger. This is super easy to toss in a backpack and travel around with it.

Selecting the Bose Soundlink Micro felt like a gamble (because of size) and turned out to be a shocker in terms of how good the quality was. This speaker easily earns the Bose name, the quality is crisp and clear, and there is even voice prompts on everything that happens (for example it said something out loud like "Connected to Samsung Galaxy S8+"). It has controls on the speaker for play/pause, and volume on the front. Also, I have to say perhaps the best feature seems to be (besides the sound) the belt clip, it's a soft belt clip but it seems to hold very strongly. I can definitely see myself enjoying this speaker in a variety of different settings where bringing even what traditionally would be called a "portable speaker" might be inconvenient.

i like it so far. the only thing i am having trouble with is the AI voice the volumn doesn’t affect it. it is hard to hear. oh well it is easy to use and loud enough for my noisy jeep. so all good here

This thing is crap , when I turn up volume it rattle . I’m sure the speaker is blown . Save ur money . I don’t recommend this product .

This device didn’t meet the standards I thought it was based off the reviews and video. It was very hard for me to connect this to my device as well.

I have only have the device a few weeks, but the volume buttons no longer work. It stays at the same volume all the time.

This tiny speaker packs quite a punch. I was shocked at how good the sound quality was. Super portable. I own many Bose products and this speaker stands up with the quality that I expect.

This speaker was definitely built well, but that was no surprise seeing as how Bose always builds their products well. I was worried that the sound would be dulled out since the speaker was small but I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a sound was produced when I started playing my music. It is portable so it can do anywhere with you. My only issues, if it can even be considered that, would be the fact that it does not come with an AC adapter and that it took a bit for it to actually turn on and connect to my iphone. Other than that it is a great speaker overall and would be recommended for anyone looking for a small but powerful speaker.

I returned this item. It doesn’t stand up the sound quality is very poor for the price. I won’t buy Bose products again.
