Originally debated between the beats pill and this but hands down the Bose speaker is absolutely amazing. The sound is so clear and the build is so sleek and classy. Obsessed with my new speakers. Very loud for its size as well.

Easy set up and the sound is great! After purchasing a few cheap speakers (jawbone and triple c), Bose SoundLink Mini II is the best portable speaker for my home office needs. Love it!

I own a couple of other wireless speakers but none compare to this Bose Mini II. You can't beat the sound and quality from such a compact device, at a great price. I am impressed.

I own several bluetooth speakers including this one. This is by far the best speaker for its size. Sometimes feels surreal when you hear the loudness of the sound and realize that it is coming from this tiny speaker. Only two downsides - 1. Pricey - most expensive at this size/form factor 2. No option for using as a speakerphone

My Soundlink Mini would shut off and be unresponsive in about 15 min. of use. It seemed to be too hot. After cooling for a bit, it would work again.

There are many competitors in this category. This small speaker will be definetly in first 5. Nice design, excellent sound quality and robust construction.

This little speaker is just awesome! It completely fills a room (even a big room) with big sound. It has powerful low end and crisp highs. In fact, I had to lower the bass output on my iPod thinking it may over-drive the speaker. When using it outside, if you make sure the back of it is a few inches from a solid surface, it will crank out the bass just as well. It connected immediately with the iPod. I have not tried to connect a second item (like a phone) to it, but I'm sure it will do what i'ts supposed to do. I highly recommend this little powerhouse. In fact, I own a Bose Soundlink III and it is not any louder or more faithful to the sound as this. Save yourself $100.00 if you're debating and use part of that to purchase the case and the soft cover. They are both well worth the money.

As far as i see, the sound quality is about the same as SoundLink I. But the battery last longer.

Surprisingly robust sound for the size. Not ideal for high volumes, but very robust and rich sound at low/moderate sound levels. I purchased this for use in my office, which is one of the best uses for it. I typically keep orchestral music playing in the background during the workday and this produces a very pleasant and complex sound. One of my favorite features, which they don't emphasize, is the speaker phone option. For use in an office, I leave my iPhone docked and playing through the speaker. When an incoming call arrives, the Bose voiceover announces the call and I can take it through the speaker (which is much preferable to the iPhone speaker) and then the speaker immediately returns to the music when the call ends. A very nice feature.

Not the sound I expected from a Bose product. Would like to return.

Bose would repair for 75$, cannot replace battery on your own.

Volume is very low. Even all the way up I could barely hear it

I have been a Bose buyer for years for computers, car, headphones and TV systems. I needed a portable, and I was on the fence between the new Bose color items that are made for the beach and the youth kid market or this mini Sound Link Speaker 2. Very glad I went with the Speaker 2. Sound is equal to a much larger unit -- unbelievable. Well worth the money.

Didn't end up keeping- going with the Sonos Play 5.

I'm a bit of a cheapskate myself so I was a bit skeptical to pay $200 for a small speaker, but I have heard bose products before and I really appreciate their sound quality so I took the chance and what I found out it when it comes to the technology department you get what you pay for (except for cell phones they are just way too expensive).

Fills a 20' x 20' room with good sound and reasonable bass (best if pushed into a corner or in front of a wall). Supports 2 Bluetooth devices as well, only 1 at a time.

First of all, I still can't believe the punch this little speaker gives out. It's an extremely good looking speaker in the Carbon color, and the Bluetooth pairing process is much quicker and easier than the previous SoundLink mini. Best Bluetooth speaker in its class by far!

This speaker is absolutely great. I held off on buying one of these for a while because I wasn't sure it was worth the price tag. I picked up a JBL Flip several years ago because it was under the $100 mark. It had good sound, but it's not quite on the same level as this Bose speaker. The bass on this speaker is great, and it has a very natural sound. This speaker works best for spoken word, classical, acoustic, country, and most live recordings. It does well with other genres as well, but I find that those often sound about the same regardless of what speaker it's being played from.

The speaker has outperformed expectations for a long time. I would highly recommend it.

This is speaker is AWESOME!! It has amazing bass and is so easy to use!! I bring it EVERYWHERE and the dock makes it SO easy to charge with!! The sound is literally great for anything!! I use it for my music and Netflix!! Couldn't have gotten a better gift!!
