Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a very well built speaker and the sound quality is great, however, at max volume (which I found to be on the low side) has a little too much bass for my type of music (heavy rock). The bass over takes the music. It is also quieter than other, cheaper blue tooth speakers. I think $180 is way too much comparing what else you can buy. If you need something that small, it's probably one of the best quality wise. Just don't use it in a loud area. I returned mine.

Posted .Hello Hotaunt2. Thank you for the review. The sound quality that you have described is definitely not what we would expect form the SoundLink Mini II, and we share your disappointment. The SoundLink Mini II is our best-sounding portable Bluetooth product for its size. You should be getting outstanding audio quality from the system with plenty of rich, deep bass and clear highs, as well as plenty of volume.One thing that may help is to reset the system by holding the power button for about 10 seconds until the 3 LEDs flash once.
